GAMES (EDT)
- 4:00 a.m: Sandbox (SB) vs. Afreeca (AF)
- 5:00 a.m: Invictus Gaming (iG) vs. Rogue Warriors (RW)
- 7:00 a.m: T1 (T1) vs. DragonX (DRX)
- 7:00 a.m: Edward Gaming (EDG) vs. Suning (SN)
SB vs. AF
This is a risky series to target, as both teams have inconsistent rosters, and starting lineups likely won't be announced until 3:30 a.m, if at all. Another reason is that this series could potentially go either way, as Afreeca may be favored but were one of the most inconsistent teams in the Spring. Sandbox are without new coach, YamatoCannon, but he has been working remotely with the team. For Afreeca, Kiin is one of the best top laners in the league each year, while Mystic always has pop off potential if starting. Sandbox's hopes rest on jungler OnFleek, while Route and GorillA are a solid bottom lane, if starting. Make sure to be on the look-out for early morning lineup announcements if playing this series. The safest play here would be to use one of these teams as your team slot.
Prediction: AF 2-1
- SB Players to Target: OnFleek ($5,800, Route ($7,000), GorillA ($4,400), SB Team ($4,800)
- AF Players to Target: Kiin ($5,800), Mystic ($7,400), AF Team ($5,000)
iG vs. RW
Ah, Invictus Gaming, the most inconsistent team in the LPL. When you quit them, that's the time they'll come through and destroy whoever they're playing like they did in their last series against Suning. Suning are a better team than Rogue Warriors, so the

iG vs. RW
Ah, Invictus Gaming, the most inconsistent team in the LPL. When you quit them, that's the time they'll come through and destroy whoever they're playing like they did in their last series against Suning. Suning are a better team than Rogue Warriors, so the expectation will be for an iG sweep, but they are very difficult to trust. Rookie is the most consistent and best player on the team, while I wouldn't touch TheShy until he shows a few consistent series in a row. If you want to take a small chance on Rogue Warrirors, any consideration has to go towards the man in the bottom lane, Zwuji. I expect iG to win, but I'm guessing they'll choke away one game, meaning they may not pay off their salaries, which are some of the most expensive on the slate.
Prediction: iG 2-1
- iG Players to Target: Ning ($6,800), Rookie ($8,000), Puff ($8,200), Southwind ($5,800)
- RW Players to Target: Zwuji ($7,200), Ley ($5,000
T1 vs. DRX
Probably the most even matchup on the slate, the second LCK series features two of the best teams in the league. T1 are the defending champions and will be the favorite to repeat in the Summer, while DragonX have the talent to push for the title themselves. T1 are very hard to beat, as they are one of the best teamwork teams in the world. Faker isn't the same pop-off type player he once was, but his teamplay is second to none. Teddy is the main carry for T1 now, while Canna ended the Spring Split with more than one carry performance from the top lane. I will always take a shot on DragonX at these prices, which are the cheapest on the slate, because on their day they have the talent to beat any team in the LCK. Chovy and Deft are two of the top players in their roles, while Pyosik had an exciting rookie split in Spring and Keria was one of the best supports in the LCK. I'd definitely play at least one DRX lineup, as upsets can happen early in the split. One thing to note here is that this may end up being the series with the lowest kill total on the slate.
Prediction: T1 2-1
- T1 Players to Target: Canna ($6,200), Cuzz ($6,600), Faker ($7,400), Teddy ($8,000), T1 Team ($5,200)
- DRX Players to Target: Pyosik ($5,600), Chovy ($6,200), Deft ($6,800), Keria ($4,600), DRX Team ($4,400)
EDG vs. SN
EDG should be one of the better teams in Summer after a fairly solid Spring adjusting to some new players. They dropped their opening series to WE, but bounced back with a clean sweep of OMG and now face a Suning team that can cause a few headaches. Suning are likely bound for the middle of the table again, likely to finish just outside a playoff spot, but on their day they can cause upsets against a team like EDG. I do think EDG will take this in what I'm thinking is the only sweep of the slate, as I just think they have better players in every role. Hope is the main carry alongside scout, with Junjia a solid playmaker and Aodi and Meiko setting the table for their teammates. Any consideration for Suning should start with Huanfeng, who is surprisingly expensive in this matchup, while SofM has a surprisingly solid record against EDG dating back to his days on Snake eSports.
Prediction: EDG 2-0
