KT vs. SP
KT and SP kick off the slate, with both teams coming in 1-3 during the Summer split. KT is rightfully the favorite, but the stats show a different picture, as both teams are close to even in gold per minute (1643/1644), and both have a gold difference around minus-1,000 at 15 minutes. SP are also very cheap, which can open up a lot of opportunities for more favored teams. Looking at SP, the current leader for fantasy stats in kills would be to look at Mickey and HyBriD, who both sit at 28 kills this Summer. And in terms of kill participation, the support, Secret, takes the lead at 69 percent. Looking at KT, Aiming would be your ideal target, as he leads the team in kills and kill participation, while bonO holds the second highest kill participation on the team at 70 percent. This will be a close matchup where both teams could pull out the win.
Prediction to Win: SHP 2-1
- SP Players to Target: Mickey ($6,200), HyBriD ($7,200), Secret ($4,400)
- KT Players to Target: Aiming ($7,600), bonO ($6,200)
TES vs. LNG
This one is a very one-sided matchup for TES, who come in with a 6-0 record while only dropping two games this split. TES are a very dominant team and will breeze over LNG in

TES vs. LNG
This one is a very one-sided matchup for TES, who come in with a 6-0 record while only dropping two games this split. TES are a very dominant team and will breeze over LNG in this matchup. The only argument I could make for rostering LNG is a pure ownership play in big-field contests. Looking at the side of TES, the top performers have been Knight, who has a very high 80 percent kill participation. TES will garner a lot of ownership due to the lopsided matchup, but everyone on the team is viable.
Prediction to Win: TES 2-0
- Players to Target: Everyone on TES
ES vs. VG
ES and VG are tied in wins, but ES are the favorite and the stats slightly lean in their favor when considering gold per minute and damage per minute. The damage per minute stat for ES is 1,920, which doesn't surprise me since ES love to team fight when they see an opportunity to take a lead. However, VG have a better gold difference at 15 with 569 because they like to draft early game team comps. The problem with this is that VG can't snowball into bigger leads to seal away the game when teams draft scaling teams that go into the late game. Wink has been eStar's best, sitting at 56 kills, ahead of Wei at 47 kills. If you're looking for someone who is involved in a lot of the kills on the side of ES, that would be Wei in the jungle. Wei currently sits at 71 percent kill participation, which makes him a great target too. ES should be able to take this series, but I can see VG taking a game off them due to the early game going well for VG and making a big deficit for ES. One issue in a possible VG win is that they are only averaging 11 kills per win, which is very low for the LPL.
Prediction to Win: ES 2-1
T1 vs. GENG
T1 and Gen.G met in the spring finals, where T1 were dominant in a 3-0 win. These games were pretty low scoring in the kill department, with Games 1 and 2 totaling 24. Then again, T1 came out with 21 kills in Game 3. You now have to make the decision if this will be a macro-focused game where it will have low scores or will both teams come out looking to fight? T1 have had higher kill games this Summer but I expect that to die down when playoff seeding is around the corner. Looking at T1, Teddy is far and away the best performer in kills, sitting at 62, with the next closest being Canna at 44 . Looking at kill participation, Teddy and Effort are tied at 72 percent, making the bot lane of T1 a good target.
Prediction to win: T1 2-1
