DYN vs. AF

Well I was horrible wrong on how Team Dynamics was going to play, as they looked amazing against KT Rolster. Yes, KT had some bad rotations, but Ucal and Sohwan were both getting bodied in lane by Rich and Kuzan. Rich's professional debut was impressive, as he put pressure in the top lane very well. Afreeca Freecs went and swept Sandbox, but it wasn't that clean as they had many blunders in the second game and were carried by Mystic. DYN are going to win this game by playing around objectives and Kuzan being a better mid laner than Fly. Fly is a type of player that won't kill you, but he isn't a lane kingdom player like Kuzan, and in the LCK where if you don't have lane kingdom players then it will be a hard time to win. AF make too many macro mistakes that DYN didn't show against one of the top teams and another point to add is that DYN are not afraid to teamfight which AF like to do. DYN seems to have their synergy going on all cylinders and they have a great chance here to make another upset.

Prediction: DYN 2-1

DYN Players to Target: Kuzan ($6,400), Rich ($5,600)

OMG vs. DMO

This is more recency bias, but OMG should smash Dominus Esports here considering how they played against Top Esports earlier. Natural needs to leave the team because he is single-handedly costing this team games. The over extension, his champion pool, his laning has all become poor and he's ranked at the bottom of the barrel in deaths. OMG looked bad in most of their games, but they came out drafting some good comps and challenged TES in the early game. This was the look that OMG tried against the other teams early in the split and maybe this is a sign that they are finally figuring out how to play "so called" style. This is going to be a sloppy game where this game can be bloody or really slow, but OMG should take this one home.

Prediction: OMG 2-0

OMG Players to Target: Icon ($7,200)

TES vs. LGD

In terms of stats, these two teams are equally comparable in a lot of categories. The way LGD wins this game is the same as how every other team should approach the matchup --- limit Knight from being able to scale significantly. JackeyLove made a lot of uncharacteristic plays and looked horrible, but Top Esports were still able to come out ahead because of how strong the top side is. That is one thing that TES has that other teams don't, a player shockingly capable of battling in 1-vs-5 situations. Knight can take over a game by himself anytime and going against any team they will have a mid lane disadvantage against TES. As long as TES' bot lane goes back to normal and plays better than the OMG game, they should beat LGD with ease.

HLE vs. T1

This is a big bounce back spot for T1 as Hanwha Life Esports looked horrible on their first day. T1 lost to DragonX in a fairly close contest, but HLE in their matchup against APK looked horrible. HLE had substitution problems, they were fighting when they didn't need to and they had no objective control. Needless to say, I might have gave too much credit for this team. But until they show me they can clean up everything in their game plan, they are a stay away for me.

Prediction: T1 2-0
