Natus Vincere stomped Quantum Bellator Fire in a rather quick 2-0 series to advance to the ELEAGUE Major: Boston semifinals at the Agganis Arena.
The second quarterfinal of the day kicked off on Quantum Bellator Fire's map pick of Mirage, with QB picking up the pistol on the back of an ace from Aurimas "kvik" Kvaksys. The celebration quickly faded as Aleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev's scout rifle ripped through the offense of QB for a triple kill. S1mple's early buy paid off as Na'Vi picked up two more to reset QB's economy.
At the forefront of the Na'Vi attack was Egor "flamie" Vasilyev, who had a stellar performance in the first half with a record-breaking 32 frags to send his team to the second half with a huge 13-2 lead. QB opened up the second half with another pistol win, but then Na'Vi promptly won the gun round to push on towards the 16-4 win.
"We saw how flamie was playing so we let him do his thing while the rest of us followed him. He had a really good game today,"s1mple said in the post-match press conference.
Natus Vincere went into their map pick of Inferno and came out on top in the pistol and the following anti-eco. QB managed to steal the second anti-eco away but could not pick up more as Na'Vi kept their lead by three rounds. Much like in the first half, QB could not keep up with Na'Vi, who ran away with the half to the tune of an 11-4 score.
QB tried to string together some rounds in the second half, but there was simply no stopping Na'Vi in their 16-7 win.
Na'Vi will now move on to face FaZe Clan in the first semifinal on Saturday at 3 p.m. ET.
