Third ODI Preview: Pakistan vs. New Zealand

Pakistan and New Zealand are ready to battle it out in the three-match ODI series decider in Dubai on Sunday. The match is of pivotal importance as the series is leveled at 1-1 after both teams managed to win one game each. In the series opener, it was the Black Caps who came out on top by 47 runs, whereas in the previous ODI, it was the Men in Green who registered a comfortable six-wicket win.

In the last game of the series, the home team will enter with a lot of confidence after showing a much better show with the bat. Opening batsman Fakhar Zaman's return to form will be a big boost for the Green Caps and the team management will be hoping that he will continue his good run on Sunday as well. In the bowling department, the team will be hoping in-form Shaheen Shah Afridi and Shadab Khan will once again provide major breakthroughs.

On the other hand, the visitors will have plenty of answers to give ahead of the big game after a below-par performance on Friday. No player apart from veteran middle-order batsman Ross Taylor has looked in decent in the series so far which must be a cause of concern for the team management.In the bowling department, the team will once again relying on the pace battery consist of Tim Southee, Trent Boult and Lockie Ferguson to jolt Pakistan's batting lineup.

That's not it as he is also the most economical bowler in the series so far with an economy-rate of 3.15. Valued at 8.5 Cr, Khan is the player to have in your team considering the conditions at the venue and also his current bowling form. While playing in Dubai, Khan has three wickets in two innings at an average of 19 and economy-rate of 3.80.

Mohammad Hafeez – 9 Cr

Second in the list of key players features Pakistan veteran all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez. The 38-year-old is in great form ever since returning to the side and can prove to be a valuable asset for your team. Valued at 9 Cr, Hafeez has so far played 13 matches in Dubai in the 50-over format, where he has scored 360 runs at an average of 27.69 and claimed 10 wickets in 11 innings.

Lockie Ferguson – 8.5 Cr

Last in the list of key players features New Zealand fast-bowler Lockie Ferguson. The right-armer is in great form with the ball and already has the highest number of wickets (6) in the series so far. Valued at 8.5 Cr, Ferguson has showed that he is a genuine wicket taker and his pace is an asset regardless of the conditions. Till now, Ferguson has represented the Black Caps in 18 ODIs where he claimed 27 wickets at an average of 31.25 and strike-rate of 32.7.
