Melbourne Renegades gear up for the second time in three days to take on Brisbane Heat on Sunday evening. The Renegades registered a comprehensive 8-wicket win over the Heat in their previous match at Brisbane. They were on a three match losing streak after winning both of their opening encounters but they have got their BBL season back on track once again with consecutive victories in the last two games. Renegades sit at third on the points table currently with four wins to their name.
The Heat, on the other hand, are lagging behind at bottom second in the points table with only two wins to their name. But they have played a match less than all other teams and hence are still in contention for a top four finish. They would want to be on the right side of the results in this match and would be looking to avenge their loss against the Renegades at home.
Weather and Pitch Conditions: Weather is expected to remain absolutely clear. The pitch will be a bit on the slower side and hence will assist the spinners more.
Player Recommendations:
Wicket-keeper: Sam Harper (8.5 Cr)
Harper has been in very good form for the Renegades at the top of the order. He had constantly been getting those quick 30s and finally converted one into a fabulous fifty in his last game against the Heat. He would be looking to continue his good run in this match as well.
Batsman: Chris Lynn (11

Batsman: Chris Lynn (11 Cr)
The Brisbane Heat skipper is the third highest run getter in the tournament so far with 247 runs to his name at an average of 41.16. He did miss out on a good score in his last match against the Renegades but he will be eager to notch up a good score this time against the same opponents.
All-Rounder: Daniel Christian (9.5 Cr)
The Renegades all-rounder has been a valuable asset in this season so far with 125 runs and 4 wickets in total to his name. His strike rate down the order is very high which gets the Renegades on to a good score more often than not. His bowling is pretty effective as well which sees him bowling at least three overs in every match.
Bowler: Mujeeb Ur Rahman (9 Cr)
The Heat spinner has five wickets to his name in six matches so far. However, the most fascinating part about him is his economy rate which stands at a measly 5.86 so far in the tournament. So, he is a very good pick who offers both wicket taking capability and economical bowling.
