Monday brings just two games in the NBA playoffs. The Sixers will be looking to close out the Wizards, while the Jazz will try to take a commanding 3-1 series lead over the Grizzlies. We also have a chance to play Yahoo DFS again, so let's highlight some players to consider for your entries, as well as a few to potentially avoid.
GUARDS
Mike Conley Jr., UTA at MEM ($28): Conley has had an excellent series against his former squad, averaging 23.0 points, 5.3 rebounds and 11.3 assists. After only averaging 29 minutes per game during the regular season, he logged at least 33 minutes in each game. With regular-season precautions now a thing of the past, Conley could continue to thrive with added playing time.
Seth Curry, PHI at WAS ($13): Curry was dealing with an ankle issue heading into Game 3, but he didn't seem to be limited in the contest, scoring 15 points on 11 shot attempts across 27 minutes. He's scored at least 27.0 Yahoo points in two of the three games in this season, nailing a total of seven of his 19 three-point attempts. With the Wizards having played at the fastest pace in the league during the regular season, Curry should continue to have added opportunities to provide value.
Guard to Avoid
Russell Westbrook, WAS vs. PHI ($56): Westbrook is officially listed as questionable for Game 4 with an ankle injury. The Wizards are in an 0-3 hole, so it would seem likely that he will do everything that he can to take the floor. Still, he could be hampered by the injury and he's had a rough offensive series, shooting just 40.0 percent from the field. The Sixers had the second-best defensive rating in the league during the regular season, so Westbrook could continue to provide muted contributions by his standards.
FORWARDS
Bradley Beal, WAS vs. PHI ($41): Even having to face the stout Sixers' defense, Beal has scored at least 41.7 Yahoo points in all three games. He's been more efficient than Westbrook, shooting 48.1 percent from the field on his way to averaging 30.3 points. His numbers could be even better, too, if he wasn't just 3-for-22 from behind the arc. With the Wizards' backs up against the wall, expect Beal to fire away at will in this contest.
Kyle Anderson, MEM vs. UTA ($23): Anderson has been racking up steals against the Jazz, registering 12 of them across three games. In fact, they have helped propel him to score at least 32.7 Yahoo points in each contest. While Anderson doesn't usually light things up in the scoring column, his high minutes floor and ability to provide contributions in multiple categories makes him appealing at this reasonable salary.
Forward to Avoid
Joe Ingles, UTA at MEM ($18): It's been a quiet series for Ingles, who hasn't scored more than 21.1 Yahoo points in any of the three games. He hit rock bottom in Game 3, scoring 2.5 Yahoo points across 23 minutes. With both Conley and Donovan Mitchell healthy, Ingles should continue to fill a limited role off the bench.
CENTERS
Joel Embiid, PHI at WAS ($47): With a couple of lopsided scores in Games 2 and 3, Embiid hasn't been forced to log a ton of minutes in this series. Still, he's averaging 29.3 points while shooting a stellar 67.4 percent from the field. The Wizards are no match for him in the paint, so look for him to continue to dominate offensively in Game 4.
Daniel Gafford, WAS vs. PHI ($15): Gafford remains in a limited role for the Wizards, logging 22 minutes or fewer in all three games of this series. However, that didn't stop him from scoring at least 24.7 Yahoo points in each contest. While it's not likely that Gafford will play more minutes, even with his strong play of late, he can still provide value if you want to fade Embiid in tournament play.
Center to Avoid
Jonas Valanciunas, MEM vs. UTA ($32): This series features an excellent centers matchup between Valanciunas and Rudy Gobert ($34). Gobert has largely won the battle, scoring at least 41.8 Yahoo points in both of the last two games. Meanwhile, Valanciunas hasn't scored more than 34.9 Yahoo points in any of the three games. With Gobert's salary only being two dollars more, he might be a better option than Valanciunas if you're looking to fade Embiid.
