FanDuel NBA: Sunday Value Plays

FanDuel NBA: Sunday Value Plays

This article is part of our FanDuel NBA series.

The Cavaliers have the chance to close out a Raptors team that is likely to be without Kyle Lowry, the Wizards will have another home game to try to get even with the Celtics in a series in which the home team has won every game all the way back to the regular season, and the Rockets will try to salvage one win at home to even their series with the Spurs. Lots of action, lots of elite talent, and lots of lower-priced value plays are in play Sunday. Let's take a closer look…

John Wall, WAS vs BOS ($10,700): Wall is averaging 28 points, 12.3 assists, 2.7 rebounds, 2.3 steals and 2.0 blocks through three games in this series. The Wizards are playing at home, down two games to one, and the home team has won every game in this series including in the regular season.

DeMar DeRozan, TOR vs CLE ($8500): DeRozan has been the definition of a high-variance, high-risk impact player in these playoffs. Out of nine games, he recorded two under 14 fantasy points but another three over 48, plus another four between 28 and 38. He's coming off a 49.9 fantasy-point effort in Game 3, playing at home without Kyle Lowry. Today's game is likely to have the same setup.

Cory Joseph, TOR vs CLE ($4400): Joseph produced 20.6 fantasy points in his start Friday — one game after scoring 32.7 fantasy points in 25 minutes. Lowry is listed as "doubtful" to play Sunday, which could give Joseph another chance to produce.

LeBron James, CLE at TOR ($12,600): James has yet to score fewer than 52 fantasy points in any game this postseason and has topped out at 77.6 fantasy points. The Cavs have a good chance to close out the Raptors on Sunday given the status of Lowry, which should further motivate Lebron.

LaMarcus Aldridge, SA at HOU ($7000): Aldridge put up his best performance of the postseason Friday, dropping 26 points with seven rebounds, four blocks and two assists. The Rockets are a poor interior defensive team, and Tony Parker's injury required that someone step up in his spot to support Kawhi Leonard — both of which likely contributed to Aldridge's improved play last game. Look for more of the same in this one.

Otto Porter, WAS vs BOS ($5100): Porter has scored between 31.8 and 36.6 fantasy points in all three games this series after averaging in the 30s against the Celtics in the regular season. In addition, the suspension of Kelly Oubre could open up a few more minutes for Porter in Game 4.

Al Horford, BOS at WAS ($8300): Horford is coming off only 24.9 fantasy points in a blowout loss in Game 3 but is still averaging 36 in the series and closer to 40 for the playoffs. After getting beaten handily in Game 3, the Celtics are likely to play better as a unit and make Game 4 more competitive, which would help Horford play more than the 28 minutes he got in Game 3.

Marcin Gortat, WAS vs BOS ($6000): Gortat has been inconsistent all season, but in the three games against the Celtics he has consistently produced with scores between 34.2 and 41.6 fantasy points. Expect that to continue at home in Game 4.

Pau Gasol, SA at HOU ($5000): Gasol got his starting job back two games ago, and has responded with 36.1 and 28.8 fantasy points. Plus, the Rockets are a terrible interior defense, so Gasol's level of production is potentially sustainable.
