Struggles in start
Miller racked up five points (1-2 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 3-4 FT), four rebounds and one steal across 16 minutes during Saturday's 125-124 loss to Memphis.
ANALYSIS
Miller was elevated to the starting lineup, sliding in at center for the first time this season. While the promotion was encouraging, his performance was certainly not. In fact, this was his worst performance in quite some time, having scored in double digits in nine straight games prior to Saturday. Despite the lack of production, Miller remains a viable fantasy option, albeit one with a seemingly unpredictable role.

2023 Fantasy Outlook
After averaging 18.0 points and 11.0 rebounds across 24 games for the Ignite, Miller was taken with the 33rd overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft. One of the more raw prospects to come out of this class, Miller has the ability to play multiple positions. He is a serviceable threat from the perimeter but it is at the rim where he is likely to do most of his damage. Unfortunately, the Timberwolves are basically locked and loaded when it comes to their active roster, with Miller likely to serve as a depth piece only. While there is a chance he ends up being a value pick in the draft, he still has a long way to go before making it as a viable NBA asset. Given he is unlikely to be an every-night part of the rotation, he holds very little value outside of dynasty formats.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Praised by head coach
Miller was praised by Bulls head coach Billy Donovan in an interview recently, according to Michael Grange of Sportsnet.ca. "He's got a really good motor. He's good on the glass," Donovan said. "I think, like any young player who did not really get a chance to play a lot early in his career ... he's got to get better in terms of the game plan and discipline, knowing the league, knowing who he's guarding, those kinds of things. But I think he shoots the ball fairly well. He can put it on the floor some. I think he can be a very, very promising guy for us."
ANALYSIS
Miller rarely played for the Timberwolves and averaged just 5.0 minutes per game across 19 appearances before being traded to Chicago in the deal that sent Ayo Dosunmu to Minnesota. Miller's role has changed drastically in Chicago, as he's started six of his 15 appearances while averaging 19.5 minutes per contest. The forward is averaging 13.2 points and 7.2 rebounds in 29.8 minutes per contest over his last six games as well, so his role might expand a bit further in the final weeks of the 2025-26 regular season.
