Tony Parker, SA at NO ($4,500) – Parker isn't the sexiest pick given his limited upside, but there seems to be a solid floor here. He should be well-rested after taking Wednesday night off and isn't listed on the injury report for Friday. Prior to the rest Wednesday, Parker posted games of 25.1, 25.9 and 21 fantasy points over his previous three. This is an exploitable matchup for him as well, with New Orleans giving up the third most fantasy points to opposing point guards on the season.
Josh Richardson, MIA at ORL ($4,500) – Admittedly, this is a risky pick with Richardson coming off a recent hiatus due to an ankle injury. He's slowly seen an uptick in minutes, topping off at 24 in last game's blowout of the 76ers. Richardson becomes a much more attractive pick in this spot if Dion Waiters (ankle) is ruled out and Richardson assumes his spot in the starting lineup.
Malcolm Brogdon, MIL vs LAC ($5,200) – Jason Kidd may have finally realized Brogdon has more upside than Matthew Dellavedova, and as a result, Brogdon is now starting and seeing more minutes. Brogdon has scored 28.9, 31.1 and 27.5 fantasy points over his last three games while Delly has eclipsed 20 fantasy points just twice in his last 10.
Joe Ingles, UTA vs BRO ($3,700) – This pick became a much better play when the Jazz announced last night that Hood would miss his second game in a row. It was much kinder of Utah to announce Hood being out this early as opposed to two minutes before lock as they did Wednesday. This is an ideal matchup, as the Nets have given up the most fantasy points to opposing guards. Furthermore, Ingles scored 21.1, 29.5 and 35.3 fantasy points in three of four games before the All-Star break while Hood was resting the same sore knee.
Terrence Ross, ORL vs MIA, ($4,900) – Ross was a big disappointment
Wednesday night when he finished with only 16 fantasy points. The good news for his owners is his ownership in cash games was around 90 percent, so he likely didn't kill your lineup. With the price increase and recency bias from Wednesday, his ownership levels will be much lower tonight making it a good time to take advantage. Since joining the Magic he's played 33, 35 and 37 minutes, and in his other two games he scored 25.5 and 37.8 fantasy points, showing that 5X value is probably more likely tonight than another clunker.
T.J. Warren, PHO vs OKC ($5,400) – Warren has seen a boost to his minutes since the P.J. Tucker trade, playing 34, 38 and 39 minutes over his last three contests. His fantasy points have been directly correlated to the increase with his scoring 27.7, 31.5 and 32.6 fantasy points over those three games. Victor Oladipo is likely out again tonight, and as a result, Warren should have a good matchup against Alex Abrines with Andre Roberson shadowing Devin Booker.
Kyle O'Quinn, NYK at PHI ($4,900) – Like Ross, O'Quinn was a disappointment Wednesday night, especially after it was announced after lock that he was coming off the bench with Lance Thomas starting. It appears even without Guillermo Hernangomez that O'Quinn is destined for only 19-25 minutes, but that should be enough for him tonight to provide value. Jahlil Okafor is arguably the worst defensive center in the league, and the 76ers have given up the most fantasy points to opposing centers this season.
Al Horford, BOS at LAL ($6,000) – Until Wednesday night when the Celtics hosted the visiting Cavaliers, Horford had been in a bad rut fantasy-wise. He may have turned the corner Wednesday after finishing a point short of a triple-double, tallying 36 fantasy points. As a result of the "rut" he was in, his price is very low at only $6K, a mere $100 more than it was Wednesday. The Lakers have given up the second most fantasy points to opposing centers, and over their last 10 games (with the rotation in flux), they've surrendered a whopping 55.9 fantasy points to the position.
