Closer Watch

New York Mets – I bet you can't guess who is making a case as the most dominant closer in the game right now? Yep, Jeurys Familia! It's the same Familia that owns a 1.12 ERA, with 41 K in 40.1 IP on the year. You have to be impressed with his close rate, with only two blown saves to this point, as Familia nabbed save No. 24 on Wednesday closing out the Giants. It's too late to acquire Familia in a trade without paying top dollar, although I do expect him to slow up some and get off his 45-plus save rate for the season.

Recommended Pickup

Gerardo Parra, OF, MIL – I have always liked the idea of grabbing a hot hitter right before the All-Star break, as some fantasy baseball owners are looking for a break themselves. Reaching out for Parra will be a good deal for attentive owners, taking advantage of those lazy wannabe's in your league. Parra may just be a short-term fix; however, he is worth kicking the ol' tires. Over Parra's last 10 games, he's 16-for-38 (.421), with three home runs, 11 runs and five RBI.

Other Recent Recommendations:Jason Motte, Patrick Corbin, Ervin Santana, Miguel Sano, Alejandro De Aza, Cesar Hernandez and Mitch Moreland.

DraftKings Value Picks

SP: Cody Anderson, CLE ($6,300)
C: Nick Hundley, COL ($3,300)
1B: Carlos Santana, CLE ($3,700)
2B: Neil Walker, PIT ($3,700)
SS: Jimmy Rollins, LAD ($3,500)
3B: Kelly Johnson, ATL ($3,600)
OF: Joc Pederson, LAD ($3,900)
