After missing the end of the 2024-25 campaign due to a personal matter and spending time in the NHL/NHLPA Player Assistance Program, Ingram started 2025-26 in the minors before becoming Edmonton's No. 1 netminder. The 29-year-old posted a 16-10-3 record with a 2.60 GAA, an .899 save percentage and two shutouts across 32 regular-season appearances. He has the potential to be a decent depth option in fantasy leagues if he ends up in the right situation and continues to play regularly. Ingram kept the Oilers' season alive once but couldn't do it twice, failing to get the series back to Edmonton. The Ducks jumped out to a 3-1 lead after one period, and that deficit was too much to overcome for the Oilers. Ingram went 2-3 with 19 goals allowed on 153 shots (.876 save percentage) across five outings in this series, which will see the Oilers fail to make the second round for the first time since 2021. Ingram is eligible for unrestricted free agency this summer if the Oilers don't re-sign him.

Ingram had a rough 2024-25, but performance was secondary to his personal struggles following the death of his mother in December of 2024. Ingram ended the season in the NHL/NHLPA Player Assistance Program -- he has previously received assistance from the league to help him manage obsessive-compulsive disorder and depression. It's not clear when he'll be cleared by the program to rejoin the Mammoth, and he may not see much playing time initially, as Karel Vejmelka thrived in the No. 1 role for Utah after Ingram stepped away from the team. Fantasy managers will likely want to wait and see how things go in the early weeks of the regular season with Ingram, who will hopefully be able to resume his career with a healthy mindset in 2025-26.
