FORWARDS
Sergio Aguero, MCI v. WAT ($10,500): Aguero comes in with the highest anytime goal scorer odds, and he leads the line for the team expected to score the most goals. He's taken 24 shots (eight on goal) in his last five games, including 21 (seven on goal) in his last four starts. He's definitely goal dependent to make value, but his shot volume at least gives him some kind of floor. There's a possibility that Leroy Sane ($8,900) has a path to set pieces, as Kevin De Bruyne ($10,900) is not expected to play and David Silva's ($8,500, midfielder) status is still up in the air. Given how big of a favorite Man City are, Raheem Sterling ($9,800) should get some consideration too, as he comes in with four goals on 15 shots (six on goal) and two assists on eight chances created in his lasts four starts.
Son Heung-Min, TOT at SWA ($8,600):Harry Kane ($11,800) is questionable to play because of an illness, which doesn't give me much confidence that he'll play 90 minutes even if he does start. Son's spot in the starting XI isn't guaranteed either, though we'll know if he's starting before lineup lock anyway. He's been on a solid tear of late, scoring five goals on 19 shots (10 on goal) and assisting three others on 12 chances created in his last seven games, and while he doesn't have Kane's upside, his lower salary makes up for it. One other Tottenham player to watch out for is Erik Lamela ($6,700), as he could have a role on set pieces if the dominoes fall in his favor.
Marko Arnautovic, WHU v. WBA ($7,600): Arnautovic's salary is now a bit high for cash-game consideration since he doesn't take any set pieces, but he has to be a GPP target given his active play of late. He's found the back of the net in four of his last five games, including each of his last three, taking at least three shots in all five and putting seven on goal. He's also not immune to crossing, as he's sent in eight in his last two while winning four fouls in that span. Facing a West Brom side that allowed six goals in their last four matches, Arnautovic seems likely to be active again.
MIDFIELDERS
James Ward-Prowse, SOU v. CRY ($6,000): Ward-Prowse doesn't have enough upside to be a strong GPP play, but he usually takes set pieces when he starts, which gives him a solid floor for cash games. Southampton have struggled of late, but a lot of that has to do with the fact they had to play at Chelsea, at Tottenham and at Manchester United in three of their last four games. Ward-Prowse only has one assist and no goals this season, but he's taken three shots (all on goal) and sent in 14 crosses in his last two starts, giving us confidence he can step up at home against Crystal Palace. Staying in that game, Yohan Cabaye ($5,900) looks likely to take a majority of the Eagles' set pieces, giving him a decent floor, especially since he can also contribute a few tackles and interceptions.
Chris Brunt, WBA at WHU ($6,100): Brunt falls into the same range as Ward-Prowse and Cabaye, though he's been a much more prolific crosser, sending in 31 in his last three games while also taking five shots, winning four tackles and creating 12 chances. West Brom are away underdogs, so there is some hesitation, but West Ham have allowed a high number of crosses and corners of late.
Mario Lemina, SOU v. CRY ($3,500): Lemina is a more defensive-minded player whose biggest benefit is that he's cheap. That isn't to say he's a total punt, as he's averaging 1.15 shots, 2.48 tackles won, 2.04 interceptions and 0.88 fouls drawn per 90 minutes this season, equating to roughly five fantasy points per game. No, it's not a ton, but it's decent for his salary and Crystal Palace have had plenty of tackles won against them this year.
DEFENDERS
Danny Rose, TOT at SWA ($6,200): All of the Spurs fullbacks are in consideration because Tottenham use them in the attack more than most other teams, giving them decent floors and upsides. Rose has taken some corners recently, but there wouldn't be anything wrong with Kieran Trippier ($6,300) on the other side, even though he's the most expensive player at the position, because of how active he is in open play.
Aaron Cresswell, WHU v. WBA ($5,100): Cresswell's value will increase if Manuel Lanzini ($7,400, midfielder) isn't in the starting XI, but the former should still be in play regardless. Despite lining up as a centerback in the last six games, Cresswell has maintained his role on corners, giving him plenty of opportunities for crosses. Teammate Arthur Masuaku ($5,600) has been starting as a wingback recently, and he's winning a fair number of tackles and drawing fouls, though those stats are unreliable for establishing a consistent floor.
Matt Targett, SOU v. CRY ($4,500): Targett could get another start if Ryan Bertrand ($5,000) is unable to recover from his hamstring injury, while Jeremy Pied ($4,600) is expected to start in place of the injured Cedric Soares ($4,700). Any of the starting Southampton fullbacks (Sam McQueen at $4,400 is another option) are in play, especially since they are significantly cheaper than the Tottenham and West Ham options and they may have the same crossing upside depending on game flow.
GOALKEEPER
Julian Speroni, CRY at SOU ($4,100): Southampton have a number of players worth considering for cash games, but none of the Saints strike fear enough to not pick the opposing keeper. Crystal Palace have allowed one or zero goals in four of their past five matches, making 16 saves over that span, and no one would be shocked if they got all three points at St. Mary's Stadium.
