2026 Fantasy Outlook
Boston was the seventh WR drafted this April and the second taken by Cleveland, going 39th overall after the Browns scooped KC Concepcion at No. 24. Last year, Cleveland's wide receivers combined for a meager 1,467 receiving yards and four touchdowns. Jerry Jeudy "led" the way with a 50-602-2 receiving line on 106 targets, while rookie tight end Harold Fannin emerged as the true No. 1 with 72-731-6 on 107 targets. Long story short, Concepcion's presence shouldn't block Boston from playing time, though it could be a slight issue for target volume that both of them (like Fannin) are YAC-reliant and not so adept at getting open downfield. Boston did make big plays at Washington, thriving on contested catches, including in the red zone. He put up 63-834-9 and 62-811-11 in his final two collegiate seasons before mostly forgoing workouts ahead of the 2026 Draft. At 6-foot-4, 212, he's been compared to Michael Pittman and probably has some leeway to get by without great separation, instead relying on physicality and strong hands. In Cleveland, there's clear opportunity for playing time but no clear timeline for when competent QB play might arrive. Read Past Outlooks
Picked by Browns
The Browns selected Boston in the second round of the 2026 NFL Draft, 39th overall.
ANALYSIS
Boston (6-foot-4, 212 pounds) has the build to impose physicality and reach from the boundary, where he did big damage especially as a downfield and red-zone jump-ball target at Washington. That Boston declined to run a 40-yard dash before the draft invites the suspicion that he might lack the long speed to regularly push downfield at the NFL level, but if he can keep winning on jump balls in the intermediate and end zone then that might be enough for Boston to prove a quality WR2 in the NFL. It might not be easy for Boston to immediately displace Cedric Tillman as the primary big wideout in Cleveland, but in the long term it's expected that Boston and 24th overall pick KC Concepcion should top the Browns' depth chart at wideout.

Visiting with AFC teams
Boston met with the Ravens on Friday and is scheduled to visit the Jets on Saturday, NFL reporter Jordan Schultz reports.
ANALYSIS
Boston has been projected as a late Day 1 or early Day 2 pick across several mock drafts during the offseason, with Dane Brugler of The Athletic listing the Washington product as the No. 6 wide receiver in the 2026 NFL Draft. Boston was a two-year starter with the Huskies from 2024 to 2025, and over that span he recorded 125 catches for 1,715 yards and 20 touchdowns across 25 games. He was selected to the All-Big Ten Third-Team in 2025 and has the speed and hand strength that Brugler believes should "earn [Boston] the trust of an NFL quarterback." The Jets and Ravens appear to both be looking to add a talented wide receiver through the draft behind Garrett Wilson and Zay Flowers, respectively.
