2025 Fantasy Outlook
Joe is a three-point specialist for the reigning NBA champions. He has shot at least 41 percent from deep in each of his first three campaigns with the Thunder, setting career highs in attempts (6.3) and makes (2.1) per game last season. Oklahoma City is essentially running it back with the same rotation that led them to a historic finish in 2024-25, but 2024 first-round pick Nikola Topic is expected to enter the rotation following a lost rookie season due to an ACL injury. Topic's presence may mean slightly less playing time for Joe, but the latter's truly elite three-point shot should help him solidify at least 20 minutes a night. The sharpshooter will also fight with Cason Wallace, Alex Caruso, Aaron Wiggins and Ajay Mitchell for playing time off the bench again, but that didn't stop Joe from seeing 21.7 minutes a game last year. Joe doesn't need to be drafted in standard leagues, and even if there are injuries ahead of him, he likely won't be the first candidate for increased usage. However, Joe's consistent work from beyond the arc could give him top-200 value in category leagues for managers in need of three-pointers. Read Past Outlooks
Traded to Pistons

2023 Fantasy Outlook
After playing a minimal role for two seasons in Philadelphia, Joe landed in Oklahoma City for the 2022-23 campaign. Despite zero expectations, he managed to carve out a consistent role for the Thunder, emerging as an elite perimeter scorer off the bench. He closed the season as the 211th-ranked player, compiling averages of 9.5 points, 2.4 rebounds, 0.7 steals and 2.2 three-pointers. He connected on a career-high seven triples on three separate occasions, including back-to-back games in January. While the roster has continued to improve during the offseason, Joe should remain an every-night part of the rotation. While he isn't worth drafting in standard leagues, he should once again be a viable streaming option.

Target for Detroit
Joe is among the players Detroit is monitoring as it looks to add shooting this offseason, according to NBA reporter Marc Stein.
ANALYSIS
The Thunder guard has developed into one of the league's most reliable floor spacers, shooting better than 40 percent from three-point range for his career. Oklahoma City's looming financial decisions could make Joe available, potentially creating an opportunity for teams seeking perimeter shooting.
