2026 Projections
2026 Fantasy Outlook
The Browns drafted Concepcion (24th overall) and Denzel Boston (39th) in April to give their dreary WR room a much-needed makeover. There may not be a QB on the roster who can reliably get them the ball, but Concepcion and Boston are set up nicely in terms of earning immediate playing time. Concepcion will turn 22 in September, following a prolific college career that included receiving lines of 71-839-10 (2023 NC State) and 61-919-9 (2025 Texas A&M). Other highlights included 320 rushing yards in 2023 and a pair of punt-return TDs in 2025. One might read that and guess that Concepcion is an undersized burner, but he checks in at 6-foot, 196, winning with agility and acceleration more so than straight-line speed. An offseason knee scope prevented him from running the 40-yard dash, which may not have been such a bad thing for his draft value. Concepcion should be healthy before training camp, in any case, with every opportunity to earn a starting job under new Browns coach Todd Monken. Read Past Outlooks
RANKS
Could play all over formation
Concepcion is expected to line up all over the formation in the Browns' retooled wideout corps as the team looks for "the best ways to utilize his explosiveness," Zac Jackson of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
The Browns' quarterback situation remains murky heading into Week 1, but whether it's Deshaun Watson or Shedeur Sanders under center, the 2026 first-round pick out of Texas A&M should have a chance to make an immediate impact this season alongside top returning wideout Jerry Jeudy and rookie second-rounder Denzel Boston. Cedric Tillman, Isaiah Bond and Tylan Wallace also are in the mix for playing time, but Concepcion's projected role and upside make him a player worth monitoring regardless of the outcome of the team's starting quarterback competition.

Top ROY candidate
Bucky Brooks of NFL.com believes that Concepcion is a dark horse Offensive Rookie of the Year candidate.
ANALYSIS
Concepcion seems like a strong fit for new coach Todd Monken's offensive scheme, which heavily features vertical routes and catch-and-run concepts. The Browns could also get the ball into Concepcion's hands in non-conventional ways, including punt returns and jet sweeps. Given the poor quarterback situation in Cleveland, Concepcion may be reliant on his run-after-catch ability for a significant portion of his production.
