SLATE PREVIEW
Utah and Boston are both on the second half of a back-to-back, so those squads might be hampered by fatigue. For the Mammoth, this is their third road game in four days, so it might be particularly difficult. The Bruins are also playing for the third time in four days, but they at least have the benefit of being at home.
GOALIES
Jake Oettinger, DAL at STL ($8,000): Oettinger has won his past two starts while stopping 36 of 40 shots (.900 save percentage). Although he has a mediocre .902 save percentage this campaign, his 19-10-4 record and 2.65 GAA through 33 outings are solid. Meanwhile, St. Louis has gone 2-6-1 over its past nine games.
John Gibson, DET vs. LAK ($7,700): Gibson had a rough start to his tenure with Detroit, but over his past 19 outings, he has an amazing 17-2-0 record, 2.00 GAA and .931 save percentage. The Kings are in a three-way tie for 28th in goals per game with 2.60, so Gibson is in a strong position to keep the good times rolling.
Philipp Grubauer, SEA vs. WAS ($7,600): The Capitals got off to an 18-9-3 record this season, but they have gone 7-12-4 since, so they haven't been the strongest of adversaries. They might have a tough time against Grubauer, who has been solid this campaign with a 10-5-3 record, 2.41 GAA and .918 save percentage in 20 outings.
VALUE PLAYS
Jack Quinn, BUF at TOR ($5,000): Quinn is on a roll with four goals and eight points across his last nine outings. That's pushed him up to 11 goals and 30 points through 51 appearances in 2025-26.
Jonathan Marchessault, NAS at BOS ($4,500): Between injuries and slumps, Marchessault has had a season to forget with nine goals and 12 points through 32 outings. However, the 35-year-old who has reached the 30-goal mark on three occasions might have turned a corner after finding the back of the net in each of his past two games.
Marco Kasper, DET vs. LAK ($4,000): Speaking of turning a corner, Kasper has two goals and six points across his past five outings. That stretch alone matches his offensive output from his first 47 games of 2025-26 (three goals, three assists). The 21-year-old had 19 goals and 37 points in 77 outings last campaign, and he was the eighth overall selection in the 2022 NHL Draft, so it's fair to say that he's capable of more than what he showed in the first half of the season.
FORWARD LINE STACKS
Wild vs. Chicago
Ryan Hartman (C - $5,600), Kirill Kaprizov (W - $7,800), Mats Zuccarello (W - $5,700)
Kaprizov is one of the hottest forwards in the league with three goals and 12 points over his past five outings, including six points with the man advantage. It's the latest strong stretch in what has been another great season -- the 28-year-old has 28 goals and 64 points in 53 appearances.
He's the highlight of this line, but not the only reason to select it. Zuccarello is on a five-game scoring streak with three goals and nine points over that stretch, giving him eight goals and 30 points through 33 outings this season. Meanwhile, Hartman has been steady recently, providing five goals and eight points over his last 10 appearances.
Predators at Bruins
Ryan O'Reilly (C - $6,800), Filip Forsberg (W - $6,200), Luke Evangelista (W - $5,300)
O'Reilly has provided tremendous value lately, contributing five goals and 13 points over his past seven outings, which gives him 18 goals and 50 points in 51 appearances on the season. It helps that he's playing alongside Forsberg, who has 19 goals and 40 points in 51 appearances, including three goals and eight points over his last five games.
Evangelista is priced well enough to make him worth taking for the sake of rounding out the unit. Like his linemates, he's been productive lately, collecting a goal and six points in his last five outings, which brings him up to seven goals and 37 points in 50 appearances this season.
DEFENSEMEN
Quinn Hughes, MIN vs. CHI ($7,000): Hughes has settled in nicely with the Wild. He's recorded a goal and 18 points over his last 12 outings. He has contributed four goals and 48 points in 47 appearances between Vancouver and Minnesota this campaign.
Roman Josi, NAS at BOS ($6,700): Josi has been phenomenal recently, supplying three goals and 12 points over his past seven outings. That gives him eight goals and 30 points in 39 appearances in 2025-26, including three goals and 12 points with the man advantage.
Dougie Hamilton, NJD vs. WPG ($5,300): Hamilton looked like he was on his way out in New Jersey, then Luke Hughes (shoulder) got hurt, and the 32-year-old defenseman Hamilton stepped up. The blueliner has a goal and nine points amid a seven-game scoring streak since being a healthy scratch Jan. 11.
