SLATE PREVIEW
There is only one game on FanDuel's Friday NHL slate as Columbus travels to Chicago. Your lineup will consist of six players, including an MVP spot which scores 1.5 times as many fantasy points and costs 1.5 times the salary. You also get a $60,000 salary cap.
MVP
Connor Bedard, CHI vs. CLM ($17,700): Bedard has come into his own this season despite missing time due to injury as he's racked up 50 points in 41 games while establishing himself as one of the NHL's rising stars.
UTILITY
Zach Werenski, CLM at CHI ($13,200): Werenski is having another great campaign at 19 goals and 38 assists with 11 points over his last eight outings while projected to be a Norris Trophy finalist.
Frank Nazar, CHI vs. CLM ($9,400): Nazar returned to the lineup last week and finally picked up his first point on Thursday. He's now up to six goals and 16 assists through 38 appearances.
Teuvo Teravainen, CHI vs. CLM ($7,800): Teravainen also recently came back from injury and tallied his 10th goal of the season on Tuesday. He's produced 22 points from 47 outings, including 11 on the power play.
Sean Monahan, CLM at CHI ($7,200): Monahan has found the back of the net in three of his last four games to give him nine goals alongside 16 assists. He had been struggling before that, but could continue his hot streak into Friday facing a subpar Blue Jackets' defense.
Wyatt Kaiser, CHI vs. CLM ($4,000): Kaiser can provide help across a few categories having posted five goals, seven assists, 34 hits and 46 blocked shots this season and comes in at a very reasonable salary to fill out your DFS rosters.
