The Preview
With the Masters in the rearview mirror, most of the top players on Tour have decided to take the week off. Regardless, there is still a tournament to be played and money to be won. This week's field at Hilton Head features 11 former "Heritage" – the tournament has taken on several sponsors through the years – champions, including four who have claimed victory at least twice. Bombers had an advantage at Augusta, but that will not be the case this week, as accuracy off the tee will be more important than distance. With that in mind, players who are better at keeping the ball in the fairway will be littered among the groups below.

The Pick: None of the players in this group have been elite in terms of accuracy off the tee this season, but it's likely one of them will claim victory this week, as all four are ranked among the eight players with the best odds to win at Hilton Head, according to golfodds.com. The nod will go to Kuchar, who has at least been the best of the bunch in 2016-17 driving accuracy, owns a victory in this event in 2014, and notched seven top-25 finishes – including three inside the top 10 – over his last 10 events. His 67 in his final round of the Masters, which featured an ace at the 16th hole, gave him even more momentum heading into this week's tournament.

The Pick: While most players likely view this week's tournament as little more than a step along the path, one player proclaimed on Twitter on Monday that this is his "favourite week of the year." That player would be none other than Fitzpatrick, the talented 22-year-old from England. While Fitzpatrick missed the cut at Hilton Head last year, he notched a top-25 finish the year before and comes into this week on a high note, finishing no worse than 32nd in his last four events, all which featured quality fields.
The Bargains

The Pick: Stuard and Blair are both among the straightest drivers on Tour, but the nod here goes to Lee because of his upside. Lee is starting to break out of a nearly year-long slump with three top-25 finishes over his last four events, and his high-water mark of No. 34 in the OWGR, which albeit came two years ago, is markedly better than anyone else in this category.

The Pick: Everyone in this section deserves a mention given the success they have had in this tournament, particularly Love, who has won five times. However, Furyk – no surprise, given his price – is the runaway favorite in the group. Furyk did not play in last year's event at Hilton Head, but over his last six appearances in the "Heritage" he notched four top-10 finishes and two victories.
