2026 Fantasy Outlook
Wilson entered the league with promise as a 2024 third-round pick, bringing 4.39 speed to a Steelers receiving corps in need of a vertical threat, but he failed to draw a target as a rookie and followed up with just a 12-166-2 line across 13 games in 2025. Now entering Year 3, Wilson faces an uphill battle for relevance after Pittsburgh added Michael Pittman to pair with DK Metcalf and selected Germie Bernard in the second round of the 2026 Draft. If Wilson can secure the No. 4 WR role, his contributions will likely be limited to a rotational, situational deep threat. Read Past Outlooks
RANKS
Minimal role to end 2025 campaign
Wilson secured 12 of 21 targets for 166 yards and two touchdowns over 13 regular-season appearances in 2025.
ANALYSIS
After missing most of his rookie season in 2024 due to injuries, Wilson had some encouraging performances in 2025, highlighted by a midseason stretch in which he had five performances with double-digit receiving yards in a span of six games. However, his role diminished down the stretch, and he was a healthy scratch in four of the team's last six regular-season matchups. Wilson could have some streaming appeal in 2026, but he'll likely have trouble carving out consistent fantasy relevance throughout the season.

2024
Wilson's 2024 rookie season was a wash, even though the Steelers badly needed help at wide receiver. After going in the third round, 84th overall, Wilson played just one game all season, missing Week 1 with an ankle injury and Weeks 7-18 with a hamstring injury. In between the two injury stints, he was a healthy scratch four times and played just five snaps in his lone appearance. Steelers GM Omar Khan said in February that Wilson might have contributed in the playoffs had the team advanced beyond the first round, and it now seems he has a shot at the No. 2 WR role for his second pro season. With 4.39 speed at 5-foot-11, 185, Wilson profiles as a perimeter receiver who runs a lot of downfield routes, which would make it difficult to get a lot of targets in an offense with DK Metcalf at wide receiver and run-first coordinator Arthur Smith calling plays.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Better connection with Rodgers
Wilson demonstrated better chemistry with quarterback Aaron Rodgers during OTAs, Mike DeFabo of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Wilson is coming off a disappointing 2025 campaign in which he was a healthy inactive for five of the Steelers' final six games of the season, including Pittsburgh's AFC wild-card round loss to Houston. The Steelers added Germie Bernard in the second round of the 2026 NFL Draft, but DeFabo relays that Wilson is still the clear WR3 and has shown a better connection with Rodgers during offseason programs. The Steelers are expected to deploy more three-wideout sets under new head coach Mike McCarthy, so Wilson is in line to see a higher workload this upcoming season.
