2026 Fantasy Outlook
Selected in the sixth round of the 2025 draft, Jordan spent most of the year on the Texans' practice squad before being needed late in the regular season when Nick Chubb and Woody Marks were both banged up. The Louisville product made the most of his opportunity, rushing for 101 yards on 15 carries in his Week 15 NFL debut against the Cardinals, but he wasn't able to follow it up the next week versus the Raiders and saw his usage dwindle until he picked up a high-ankle sprain in Week 18 that kept him off the playoff roster. Jordan posted an uninspiring 4.56 40-yard time at the combine and doesn't have ideal size for a feature back, but he's able to maximize what physical tools he does have thanks to plus vision, good elusiveness in space and a three-down skill set. The Texans brought in David Montgomery this offseason to be the new lead back and still have Marks around to handle passing-down duties, but Jordan may have shown enough to be a regular part of the gameday roster in a depth role during his sophomore season. Under contract for 2026
Jordan finished the 2025 season with 43 carries for 193 yards over four regular-season games. He added seven catches on seven targets for 34 yards.
ANALYSIS
Jordan was signed off the practice squad in late in the season when both Woody Marks and Nick Chubb were hobbled by injury. Jordan had an impressive debut in Week 15, when he logged 15 carries for 101 yards in a win over Arizona. Once Marks and Chubb got healthy, Jordan served in a backup role and was inactive for both of Houston's playoff games. He's under contract for 2026, but the Texans are expected to reinforce their backfield during the offseason, so Jordan may not have a path to a regular role.

A sixth-round pick out of Louisville in 2024, Jordan's lack of size, speed or power make him a longshot to earn a big role in the NFL. He's a smart runner with plus vision who can get the most of of his blocking, and his receiving skills and enthusiasm for pass protection could get him on the field on third downs, but he could have trouble generating chunk plays. Jordan joins a crowded Texans backfield that now features Joe Mixon in a lead role, and he may need to beat out special teams stalwart Dare Ogunbowale for a roster spot.
