THE SLATE

Real Madrid at Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul

Status Check: Thomas Heurtel (RMB), Gabriel Deck (RMB), Adam Hanga (RMB), Jeffery Taylor (RMB), Jan Vesely (FBB), Nando de Colo (FBB), Danilo Barthel (FBB), Marial Shayok (FBB), Markel Starks (FBB)

Best Bets for Success: Two rescheduled games will be played Tuesday, and the first one up should be a good one, as it features two teams who have not lost a EuroLeague game in the new year. Every player list above has been ruled out, so neither squad will be at full strength. Both still have plenty of talent to get by, and Real Madrid will at least have its steadiest two producers in Walter Tavares and Guerschon Yabusele. Both players were a bit quiet the last time out, but that was mainly because their minutes were limited in an easy win, and they make for good bounceback candidates in a contest that figures to be more competitive. Tavares is averaging both more fantasy points and value than anyone on the board, but he will have his work cut out for him, as the Turkish team ranks top-2 against centers in points, rebounds, blocks and field goal attempts. Yabusele, meanwhile, will have a pretty prime matchup, as Fenerbahce ranks bottom-3 against forwards in five of the six counting stats as well as FGA. A few players have a case to be listed in this section for the home team, but the stats say the best options are in the backcourt, as only a couple teams can claim to handle opposing frontcourts as well as Real Madrid. The numbers then point to Marko Guduric, who averaged 17.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, 6.0 assists, 3.0 steals, 2.0 threes and 33.3 DraftKings points over his last three appearances, which all came with Fenerbahce trotting out the same roster it will Tuesday.

DFS Darlings: The over/under on this game is about five points higher than it is in the next contest, so give a slight lean to the value plays in one. While Devin Booker will have several tough big men to deal with, he's also pretty reasonably priced on DraftKings at $8,500 and has returned 3x value at that rate seven times this season. Pierria Henry is also worth a look with his rate falling back below $9,000. If you're trying to conserve, Jehyve Floyd looks like a decent gamble at $4,900. It's no easy task sorting through the value plays on the Spanish squad, because there are a bunch to consider. The most trustworthy among the group $7,100 or cheaper seems to be Rudy Fernandez, who is making his presence known lately and is returning the most average value. Fabien Causeur and Trey Thompkins earn a mention as well, being forwards who fall below the $6,000 mark.

AX Armani Exchange Milan at Zalgiris Kaunas

Status Check: Shavon Shields (AXM), Konstantinos Mitoglou (AXM), Luigi Datome (AXM), Trey Kell (AXM), Riccardo Moraschini (AXM), Janis Strelnieks (ZAL)

Best Bets for Success: These squads should be plenty familiar with each other, as they just squared off in Milan a couple weeks ago. No one particularly stood out on either side, which is not surprising because both teams have been a revolving door in this section in recent weeks. We're going to change things up again Tuesday and go with a different player than we listed for both squads in Round 25. Malcolm Delaney now looks like the best best to deliver for the Italian team with him averaging 29 minutes and 26 DraftKings points over his last two appearances. Those are pretty nice numbers for a player who checks in at just $7,900 and should be rested after getting a breather in Saturday's domestic contest. While we did not go with Tyler Cavanaugh in the Lithuanian club's last contest, we did go with him when these teams last saw each other and will so again. He may still be a bit pricey on DraftKings, but he has put up at least 20.5 points on that website in four straight appearances and came within striking range of a double-double in the last meeting.

DFS Darlings: Kyle Hines' numbers did not jump off the page in the last meeting, but they usually don't and yet he is returning some of the most average value on Tuesday's slate. He still managed to put up 25.5 fantasy points last time he saw Zalgiris and checks in at a reasonable $8,100 on DraftKings. With Datome joining the list of absences, Ben Bentil could also be worth considering as well. One of the more intriguing options on the board is Joffrey Lauvergne, whose price dropped significantly on DraftKings but who also nearly dropped a double-double in Sunday's domestic game. If Lauvergne comes even close to do that Tuesday, 3x value is well within reach at $6,300. Milan has been one of the toughest teams against opposing guars, and Zalgiris' backcourt will be crowded Tuesday if Strelnieks suits up. However, Tai Webster is starting to get some opportunities and won't have to do a lot to get the job done on DraftKings at $5,200.
