2025 Fantasy Outlook
The Giants traded three picks to move up to select Dart 25th overall in this year’s draft. He'll likely get time to develop behind veterans Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston, though a training camp competition isn't entirely out of the question. Dart completed 69.3 percent of his passes at Ole Miss last season and led the FBS with 10.8 YPA. It was the third straight year in which his completion percentage, YPA and passer rating all improved from the previous season, and also his third straight year with at least 389 rushing yards. At 6-foot-2, 224, Dart moves well for his size but is sometimes too eager to scramble, and he may not be fast enough for his college rushing production to translate to the pros (he didn't run a 40-yard dash). He has a quick release with solid velocity, but the Ole Miss offense didn't always require full-field reads, and scouts said he often struggled when forced off his initial read. The biggest issue, though, might be his lack of an elite skill or trait. Nevertheless, the Giants hope a rookie apprenticeship will help the 22-year-old become their franchise QB. Read Past Outlooks
RANKS
Rebounds against Raiders
Dart completed 22 of 30 passes for 207 yards, no touchdowns and no interceptions in Sunday's 34-10 win over the Raiders. He added nine rushes for 48 yards and two touchdowns.
ANALYSIS
Dart had a rough showing in Week 16, but he bounced back in an advantageous matchup. He connected with both Wan'Dale Robinson and Darius Slayton for long gains of 36, 21, 17 and 15 yards to average 6.9 yards per attempt -- his highest mark in his last three starts. Equally encouraging was Dart's aggressiveness with his legs, which included rushing scores of 12 and two yards. He should have the chance to end his rookie season well in a Week 18 matchup against Dallas.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
May not be set as QB of future
Dart could be traded this offseason if the Giants rate a quarterback in the 2026 Draft class more highly than him, Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports.
ANALYSIS
The Giants currently hold the second overall pick in the 2026 Draft after beating the Raiders on Sunday, but there could be two highly rated QBs available in Indiana's Fernando Mendoza and Oregon's Dante Moore, and it's possible they will move back into the top spot if Las Vegas beats Kansas City in Week 18. Dart has shown flashes of his upside as a rookie this season but has also dealt with concussions brought on by his aggressive scrambling, and if the Giants decide they would rather hitch their wagon to Mendoza or Moore, they would have no reason to keep Dart as well. Making the scenario less likely is the fact that GM Joe Schoen, who drafted Dart, is still in charge for the Giants. If he gets replaced before the draft, a new voice in the front office might be more willing to move on from Dart after only one year.
