22-Year-Old QuarterbackQB
New York Giants
2026 Fantasy Outlook
The 25th pick in the 2025 draft, Dart was named the Giants’ starter by Week 4 last season. He finished QB13 in fantasy despite starting just 12 games, with rushing production bolstering his value. Top 3 among QBs in both rushing yards (487) and TDs (9), he was quick to run under pressure -- 10.1 percent scramble run rate (2nd) -- but was also a bit reckless at times, leading to missing two games midseason with a concussion. The Giants will try to temper that this season, but Dart likely will run plenty for fantasy purposes. The bigger question is the passing game where Dart ranked last in the league with 162.3 yards per game. He went downfield at a good clip (34.2%, 10th), but completed just 39.7 percent (30th) of attempts of 10-plus yards. Malik Nabers tore an ACL in Dart’s first start, leaving the Giants with few quality options as his receivers couldn’t get open downfield (7.1%, 29th). That will improve this season if Nabers returns healthy and if 6-foot-4 Malachi Fields develops into the No. 2 WR the Giants hoped for when they traded up in the third round to draft him. New York also signed WR Darnell Mooney, who could be a decent third option, and TE Isaiah Likely, who new head coach John Harbaugh brought with him from Baltimore. With Harbaugh and new OC Matt Nagy, Dart should at least have a more stable offense that what he led last year. Read Past Outlooks

Tosses two TDs in Week 18 win
QBNew York Giants
January 4, 2026
Dart completed 22 of 32 passes for 230 yards and two touchdowns while rushing five times for 32 yards in Sunday's 34-17 win over the Cowboys. He finishes his rookie season with 2,272 passing yards and a 15:5 TD:INT, as well as 487 rushing yards and nine rushing touchdowns in 14 games (12 starts).
ANALYSIS
Dart showed plenty of promise in his rookie campaign, thriving as a runner and making many impressive throws despite working with an injury-riddled supporting cast. He threw touchdown passes of 29 yards to Daniel Bellinger and 13 yards to Tyrone Tracy as the Giants notched their fourth and final win of the 2025 regular season. The Giants will have an early pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, but they are unlikely to draft a quarterback, so Dart's expected to head into his sophomore season as the team's starter under center.

2025 Fantasy Outlook
The Giants traded three picks to move up to select Dart 25th overall in this year’s draft. He'll likely get time to develop behind veterans Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston, though a training camp competition isn't entirely out of the question. Dart completed 69.3 percent of his passes at Ole Miss last season and led the FBS with 10.8 YPA. It was the third straight year in which his completion percentage, YPA and passer rating all improved from the previous season, and also his third straight year with at least 389 rushing yards. At 6-foot-2, 224, Dart moves well for his size but is sometimes too eager to scramble, and he may not be fast enough for his college rushing production to translate to the pros (he didn't run a 40-yard dash). He has a quick release with solid velocity, but the Ole Miss offense didn't always require full-field reads, and scouts said he often struggled when forced off his initial read. The biggest issue, though, might be his lack of an elite skill or trait. Nevertheless, the Giants hope a rookie apprenticeship will help the 22-year-old become their franchise QB.

Giants bolster offense in draft
QBNew York Giants
April 26, 2026
The Giants drafted offensive tackle Francis Mauigoa 10th overall and wide receiver Malachi Fields 74th overall this weekend, improving their offensive personnel around Dart.
ANALYSIS
Former All-Pro Andrew Thomas will likely continue to protect Dart's blind side at left tackle once Thomas recovers from a hamstring injury, but Mauigoa is likely to fill a starting spot at either right tackle or guard, while Fields could contend for a starting role opposite Malik Nabers, who is working his way back from a knee injury. Dart was a productive dual-threat quarterback in his rookie campaign despite a lack of talent around him on offense, and the Giants have made a concerted effort to improve the unit around Dart, compensating for losing leading 2025 receiver Wan'Dale Robinson in free agency by signing tight end Isaiah Likely and wide receiver Darnell Mooney before adding Mauigoa and Fields in the draft.
