PREGAME UPDATES

THE SLATE

Khimki Moscow Region at Anadolu Efes Istanbul

Key Injuries: Jonas Jerebko (KHI), Janis Timma (KHI), Greg Monroe (KHI), Stefan Jovic (KHI), Egor Vialtsev (KHI), Krunoslav Simon (IST), Tibor Pleiss (IST)

Best Bets for Success: Shane Larkin and Vasilije Micic both kept rolling in Round 19, with each posting 27.8 points on DraftKings. They'll both be in position to produce again Thursday, as they face a Khimki team that has struggled defensively all season and has been even worse since they started losing players. Micic has been the more consistent of the two of late, but Larkin fared far better last time these teams matched up. With Khimki short-handed, Devin Booker joins Alexey Shved in this section once again. Booker does not have Shved's upside, but he's also a far cheaper option, and he only averaged 5.5 fewer shots than his teammate over the last two Rounds.

DFS Darlings: Given Khimki's struggles on the defensive end and five absences, plus the fact the over/under on this game is about 10 points higher than the next one and 17 points above the final game on the slate, this will be the contest to target for value plays. Errick McCollum and Jordan Mickey are the only other Khimki players to do much of note lately, and with the likelihood they will fill key roles Thursday, they're both worth considering. McCollum has been pretty hit-or-miss, but he has hit the 25-point mark on DraftKings in a third of his games, which is the kind of upside you like to see in his price range. Efes figures to use a short rotation if Simon remains sidelined, and in that scenario, Rodrigue Beaubois and James Anderson would both be nice low-cost additions to your lineups.

AX Armani Exchange Milan at ALBA Berlin

Key Injuries: Shavon Shields (MIL), Vladimir Micov (MIL), Luke Sikma (BER), Marcus Eriksson (BER), Niels Giffey (BER)

Best Bets for Success: With Milan's balanced attack and ALBA's roster and rotation both in flux, it's not easy identifying the top option for either team. Malcolm Delaney has at least been the most consistent producer for the Italian team, so we'll go with him here. ALBA isn't giving up many points to opposing guards, but they have been fairly friendly in the rest of the categories. Jayson Granger has easily been ALBA's best player of late, but he's pretty risky with fellow guard Peyton Siva back in the fold. On a bit of a hunch, we'll go with Ben Lammers as the top option for the German team. He appears to be back at full speed after missing time with an ankle injury, and he averaged 15.7 points, 7.7 rebounds and 1.3 blocks in the last three games in which he played he played 20 minutes.

DFS Darlings: Sergio Rodriguez has been pretty quiet of late, but he has enough upside to consider on DraftKings at a season-low $7,100. Teammate Luigi Datome is a bit more expensive after his big game Tuesday, but ALBA has struggled with opposing forwards almost as much Valencia, and he will be worth going with again if Micov again joins Shields on the sidelines. ALBA won't have many options to consider if Sikma and/or Eriksson return, but if they don't, Simone Fontecchio deserves a look in his first matchup against the team he was part of from 2016 through 2019.

TD Systems Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz at Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv

Key Injuries: None

Best Bets for Success: Pierria Henry and Achille Polonara both stuffed the stat sheet last time they faced Maccabi, and the big man has not slowed down since, producing in every fantasy category. Henry was not on top of his game Tuesday, but he is also $1,700 cheaper on DraftKings than he was that day, and at his current price he is returning some of the most average value on the entire board. Scottie Wilbekin has been pretty up-and-down of late, and he scored only five points against Baskonia in Round 13. Working in his favor though is the fact he checks in at his cheapest price of the season on DraftKings.

DFS Darlings: With both teams at full speed and far fewer points expected in this game than the other two, there won't be much for value in the lower price ranges. Youssoupha Fall is a guy to go after though, particularly if he starts. Maccabi has not been too tough on opposing frontcourt players, and he was the only player besides Henry and Polonara to do anything of note in the last matchup. At just $7,400 on DraftKings, Othello Hunter will be a nice option for Maccabi. He will have to contend with a lot of Baskonia big men, but he has been producing regularly for a few weeks, and his recent averages would be even better had an eye injury not limited him to only two minutes in Round 17. Omri Casspi and Yovel Zoosman at least deserve a mention, as though they have not contributed much, they've started to get more involved, and they are both plenty capable of returning 5x value should either or both break out.
