2024 Fantasy Outlook
Strange played in 14 games during his rookie campaign and primarily served as Jacksonville's No. 3 tight end. He caught five of nine targets for 35 yards and a touchdown. Evan Engram is locked in as the Jags' top tight end, but the No. 2 role should be up for grabs. Strange, who was selected in the second round of the 2023 NFL Draft, will be competing with Luke Farrell and Josiah Deguara for the role. Read Past Outlooks
Two targets in Engram's return
Strange caught one of two targets for 11 yards in Sunday's 35-16 loss to the Bears.
ANALYSIS
Strange faded back into obscurity as Evan Engram returned from a hamstring injury and led the Jaguars with 10 catches for 102 yards. Strange saw an end-zone target despite Engram's presence, but the 2023 second-round pick will be tough to rely on from a fantasy standpoint now that he's back in a No. 2 role.

2023 Fantasy Outlook
Evan Engram busted out with 766 receiving yards and four touchdowns for Jacksonville last season and is back on the franchise tag, which gives Strange a chance to develop in a secondary role after being selected in the second round of the 2023 NFL Draft. Strange is a strong blocker who also caught 32 passes for 362 yards and five touchdowns during his final collegiate campaign at Penn State. He's unlikely to be fantasy relevant as a rookie with Engram atop the depth chart -- tight ends rarely are immediately productive, anyway -- but Strange is likely viewed as more of a potential long-term solution.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Jags' TE1 for third straight game
Strange will be the Jaguars' starting tight end Sunday against the Texans while Evan Engram is sidelined for a third straight game due to a hamstring injury, Michael DiRocco of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
While Strange caught just two passes on five targets for 12 yards during the Jaguars' Week 3 loss to the Bills, he did manage to corral his second career touchdown early in the third quarter. Strange carries a 5-77-1 line into Sunday's AFC South showdown, and he could see even more looks from quarterback Trevor Lawrence if wide receiver Gabe Davis is limited or ruled out due to a shoulder injury.
