Armel Traore Over 11.5 Points+Rebounds (-115 bet365)
Armel Traore Over 7.5 Points (+105 bet365)
I don't love that the bet of the day is a wait-and-see situation, but this is the spot I'm monitoring most closely. I've already placed a half unit on the points line, and I plan to add a full unit on each play if the news breaks our way.
Both Glynn Watson and Mbaye Ndiaye are uncertain for Friday's contest, and if they're ruled out, they would join Nando de Colo on the inactive list. Traore already showed how productive he can be when ASVEL was shorthanded earlier in the season.
Jordan Loyd Over 13.5 Points+Assists (-115 bet365)
Efes kept the minutes light for their top contributors in the first leg of this double-game week thanks to a blowout win over Zalgiris. The Lithuanian team doesn't give up much to opposing guards, which is why we attacked them with bigs and Cole Swider carried us that day.
Friday's game is the opposite. We're looking at a tight spread, and the matchups favor the guards. Filip Petrusev and Mfiondu Kabengele are strong, versatile frontcourt defenders who do a great job neutralizing bigs, so this should force scoring duties onto players like Loyd and Isaia Cordinier.
I like both, but I landed on Loyd due to better combo availability, with none to be found for Cordinier. If you're limited to DraftKings, I don't mind sprinkling Loyd 15+ Points at +302.
Nikola Milutinov Over 11.5 Points (+110 bet365)
What else needs to be said? We always target bigs against ASVEL, and now we get one of the most talented centers in the league in Milutinov.
Bodian Massa is ASVEL's best option to slow him down, but even he's at a significant disadvantage. If Massa picks up early fouls and Olympiacos makes it a point to feed Milutinov early, he could very well reach double digits midway through the contest.
This is arguably the best matchup on the board. The only real concern is the spread. That said, things would need to get out of hand quickly to truly hurt Milutinov, given how head coach Georgios Bartzokas manages rotations. Starters play the full first quarter, then usually sit until the final few minutes of each half. Losing those late fourth-quarter minutes is fine, but what we can't afford is a huge lead in the third period, which could lead to an early hook. A hot start would get us in a good place.
Nigel Williams-Goss Over 14.5 Points+Assists (-115 bet365)
Nigel Williams-Goss Over 4+ Assists (+111 DraftKings)
Fouls and blowouts are the thing that hurt Williams-Goss most. If I lose this wager in a game that is competitive and in which he gets his usual workload it was not meant to be, but I think this line does not account enough for his upside in games that are within reach late in the final period -- when he excels most.
