That's right, joining the Capcom Pro Tour, Tekken World Tour, and Injustice Pro Series will be the Dragon Ball FighterZ World Tour. The first stop on the tour will be CEO at the end of June, and the tour will continue along into 2019. While no other stops have been announced yet, you can bet the farm that EVO 2018 -- where DBFZ already has a slot during Championship Sunday -- will be on the list. More details, such as other stops and prize pool, will be announced "soon."
With the growing popularity of this game, it's no surprise at all that this tour was announced. It was the next logical step in the growth of the DBFZ community, as it will give a chance to create some storylines at each event along the tour. It will also likely give some of the lesser-known players a chance to get in the spotlight, as there will likely be smaller events that not everyone will attend. If you want to see what kind of talent each region has to offer, this tour will certainly put everyone on full display.
Keep an eye on this space in the coming days and weeks as we await more info from Bandai Namco.
