2026 Fantasy Outlook
Wilson's 2025 campaign looked similar to his first two NFL seasons at the midway point, with steady snaps once again failing to produce steady targets. There was some improvement in October, but no real sign of what was to come after teammate Marvin Harrison suffered a heel injury in Week 10. With Jacoby Brissett at quarterback, and no defense or running game to speak of in Arizona, Wilson averaged 11 targets over his final eight games, catching 7.0 passes for 96.9 yards and 0.75 TDs. The hot streak started with receiving lines of 15-185-0 and 10-118-0, followed by one down week (when Harrison returned), and then five straight games with a TD and 52+ yards. Production to that extent can't be dismissed, even if it was obviously inflated by Harrison's absence and Brissett's ridiculous volume (40.3 pass attempts per game). Strong chemistry between Brissett and Wilson was also a factor, and could be again in 2026, but it's hard to say what that means from a volume standpoint if Harrison, McBride and RB Jeremiyah Love are mostly healthy. In line for extension?
Wilson is a candidate for a contract extension as he enters the final year of his rookie deal, Darren Urban of azcardinals.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Coming off a 1,000-yard breakout last season, Wilson told reporters Wednesday that his contract situation won't dictate his offseason. He's been participating in voluntary practices, catching passes from Gardner Minshew, Carson Beck and Kedon Slovis while Jacoby Brissett remains away from the team due to his own contract situation. Anyone invested in Wilson's success is rooting for Brissett to make as many starts as possible, though the fantasy results presumably will be less impressive now that the Cardinals have a new coaching staff and a new backfield. Wilson's late-season surge occurred in an offense without WR Marvin Harrison or RB Jeremiyah Love, and with Brissett attempting more than 40 passes per game. Wilson handled the volume well, but that doesn't mean he'll see anything similar in a 2026 Arizona offense in which Love and TE Trey McBride look like the safest bets to pile up volume.

A 2023 third-round pick who ran a 4.58 40 at 6-foot-2, 213 pounds, Wilson is shaping up as Arizona's version of Darius Slayton -- good enough to keep a starting job, but not good enough to prevent discussion of replacing him. Wilson dropped from 14.9 yards per catch as a rookie to 11.7 in 2024, but there wasn't much change in his peripheral stats, and the overall production ended up being similar thanks to staying healthy for all 17 games. The Cardinals then declined to add serious target/snap competition in the offseason, apparently content to start a lightly targeted player like Wilson in an offense where WR Marvin Harrison and TE Trey McBride figure to account for at least half of the volume and production. A Year 3 breakout for Wilson isn't impossible, but it would probably look something like 800 yards and 5-6 TDs, still leaving him short of mainstream fantasy value as anything other than a bye-week replacement.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Extension candidate for Cardinals
Wilson is a candidate for a contract extension as he enters the final year of his rookie deal, per Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site.
ANALYSIS
Wilson broke out with 1,006 receiving yards and seven touchdowns across 17 regular-season games in 2025. The 2023 third-round pick stepped up while 2024 fourth-overall selection Marvin Harrison missed time due to injuries. With Harrison having underperformed his lofty draft position so far, it could be prudent for the rebuilding Cardinals to secure Wilson's services for the future with a contract extension rather than allowing him to test free agency after the 2026 season.
