LSU heads to Fayetteville, Arkansas this week to take on the Razorbacks and continue its quest to the SEC Championship game. LSU is now in the driver's seat in the SEC West after upsetting Alabama and needs only to win out for a shot at the SEC title next month. Arkansas enters at 2-3 in the SEC and while the Hogs won't be winning the SEC West this season, they can throw the division into chaos with a win this week.

LSU @ Arkansas Odds for Week 11

Spread: LSU -3 (FanDuel Sportsbook)

Total: 62.5 (FanDuel Sportsbook)

Moneyline: LSU -170; Arkansas +140 (FanDuel Sportsbook)

This line opened at LSU -1.5 and has since risen to the magic number of three, where it will likely stay. The line opened pretty light for a team that just beat Alabama and now has control of the West division, but it looks like the oddsmakers baked in the hangover. The total is where the big jump has occurred as it opened in the high-50s and skyrocketed to 62.5. This is likely due to Arkansas' propensity to get into shootouts in conference games this season.

LSU at Arkansas Betting Picks This Week

This game really boils down to the mindset of the Tigers. Are they going to be ready this week after their huge win over Alabama this past week? With so much on the line this week and Brian Kelly at the helm, I have to think that the Tigers will be ready to play and not squander this great opportunity. Looking at the numbers, the biggest advantage any unit has is LSU's passing offense against Arkansas' passing defense, which has been shredded all season. As such, I'm laying the small number with LSU (-3) as well as taking the Tigers on the money line. I like the over (62.5) as well as Arkansas has been in plenty of shootouts in the SEC this season.

LSU at Arkansas Prediction

This game can start one of two ways, but it will end the same way no matter the start. If LSU comes out slow, due to the hangover, I could see Arkansas getting out early only to see LSU wake up midway through the second quarter. I could also see LSU starting fast, building on the momentum from this past week. Either way, LSU will own the second half of the game, be it in comeback mode from a slow start or in put-away mode after starting quickly. Jayden Daniels is on a roll right now and he should be able to take full advantage of the weak Arkansas pass defense, which will be the difference in this game. Nobody expected this from LSU this season and it would be a huge waste to throw away the SEC West because of a hangover.
