It was a star-studded fantasy week in Week 13, as the top of the power rankings is populated with highly familiar names. However, a trio, including our new No. 1 player, made the cut by virtue of just one spectacular performance in their sole time on the floor.

The following players averaged the most fantasy points per game last week (one-game minimum)

NBA Fantasy Power Rankings for Week 13

#1. Anthony Edwards, Timberwolves

Last Week: 65.0 FP/G Season Rank: 17 (48.2 FP/G)

Edwards missed the Timberwolves' first two games of the week with a foot injury, but he made the most of his return in Saturday's win against a talented Spurs team. Edwards commemorated the occasion with a career-high 55 points on 19-for-33 shooting, including 9-for-16 from 3-point range. The 2020 first-round pick rounded out his night with four rebounds, three assists and an 8-for-10 tally from the free-throw line, a memorable performance that comfortably vaulted him to the top of the heap.

#2. Luka Doncic, Lakers

Last Week: 58.6 FP/G Season Rank: 2 (64.0 FP/G)

Dončić missed one game in his own right during Week 13, but the Lakers had a jam-packed five-game schedule. Therefore, the superstar guard still had plenty of opportunity to generate his usual elite production and finished with averages of 33.3 points, 7.8 assists, 4.3 rebounds and 1.3 steals across 35 minutes per game. The highlights of Dončić's week were 42- and 39-point efforts against the Kings and Hornets, respectively, and he also

#2. Luka Doncic, Lakers

Last Week: 58.6 FP/G Season Rank: 2 (64.0 FP/G)

Therefore, the superstar guard still had plenty of opportunity to generate his usual elite production and finished with averages of 33.3 points, 7.8 assists, 4.3 rebounds and 1.3 steals across 35 minutes per game. The highlights of Dončić's week were 42- and 39-point efforts against the Kings and Hornets, respectively, and he also was impressively efficient with 51.1% shooting overall, including a 43.9% success rate from behind the arc.

#3.  Ja Morant, Grizzlies

Last Week: 58.0 FP/G Season Rank: 40 (41.8 FP/G)

Trade buzz was the main storyline surrounding Morant all week, but the 2019 second overall pick remains with the Grizzlies for now and even found his way back on the court after a six-game absence due to a calf injury. Morant thrived in that one opportunity Sunday against the Magic in London, finishing Memphis' comfortable 126-109 win with a 24-point, 13-assist double-double that also included five rebounds and one steal. What the next couple of weeks holds for Morant is anyone's guess with the trade deadline looming, but he offered a reminder Sunday that he has plenty to offer when at full health.

#4.  Deni Avdija, Trail Blazers

Last Week: 57.0 FP/G Season Rank: 9 (51.6 FP/G)

Avdija was yet another star encumbered by injury in Week 13, as he was only part of one of Portland's four games due to a lower-back strain. However, like Edwards and Morant, Avdija came back with a vengeance, lighting up the Kings on Sunday for 30 points, eight rebounds, eight assists and one block while shooting 10-for-18 from the field. The Blazers have evened their record at .500 and are entering Jan. 19 action in the No. 9 spot in the West, and Avdija's play has been at the center of their surprising surge.

#5. James Harden, Clippers

Last Week: 56.6 FP/G Season Rank: 10 (51.5 FP/G)

Harden turned in a vintage three-game week while leading the Clippers to a perfect record in that span, averaging 28.3 points, 9.3 assists, 3.7 rebounds and 1.7 steals. The Beard shot an abysmal 36.1% as well, but a 92.9% success rate from the line on an average of 9.3 free-throw attempts per contest helped offset those struggles to a significant degree. Kawhi Leonard's absence in the final game of the week Friday due to a knee injury helped Harden's cause in that tough matchup against the Raptors as well, but he's enjoying his most productive season as a scorer since his final full Rockets campaign back in the shortened 2019-20 season.
