2025 Fantasy Outlook
No longer a fantasy stud by any means, Green still managed to put together a solid overall campaign in his age-35 season. He appeared in 68 regular-season contests and produced averages of 9.0 points, 6.1 rebounds, 5.6 assists, 1.5 steals, 1.0 blocks and 1.2 three-pointers in 29.2 minutes on 42.4 percent shooting from the field and 68.7 percent from the line on low volume. He just narrowly missed out on a top-100 finish in nine-category leagues, which was relatively close to his ADP. Entering his age-36 campaign, the Warriors gave Green a veteran backcourt mate in Al Horford, plus they signed Jonathan Kuminga to an extension. Green's steal/block rates rebounded nicely in 2024-25, and it helped that he spent more time at center in the frontcourt. Injuries and maintenance concerns are always there for Green, especially at this point in his career, but his ability to be a stable source of rebounds, dimes and defensive stats gives him a solid floor at what should be an affordable price for someone whose best days are behind him. Won't play Friday
Green (rest) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Thunder.
ANALYSIS
Friday's game is the first leg of a back-to-back set, so Green will likely be available for Saturday's contest against the Jazz. Al Horford (sciatica) and Gui Santos are candidates for increased playing time in Green's absence.

Green is coming off a season fragmented by multiple absences, including a couple of significant suspensions. His troubles began with a five-game suspension stemming from an on-court scuffle against the Timberwolves, then in his sixth game back, he struck Jusuf Nurkic of the Phoenix Suns with a violent motion, earning him a month-long suspension spanning from mid-December to mid-January, which also included having to attend counseling sessions. Upon his return to action, Green eased his way back into rhythm by coming off the bench for a few games before returning to his usual starting role. He averaged 8.3 points, 7.9 rebounds, 6.1 assists, 1.2 steals and 0.9 blocks through his final 40 games down the stretch of the season, closely resembling his averages from the previous five seasons. He topped 20 points three times among his 55 regular-season appearances in 2023-24, including a season-high 23 points on 9-for-14 shooting during a road win against the Jazz in mid-February. He also reached double-digit rebounds on 13 occasions and double-digit assists eight times. He finished with three double-doubles involving assists and rebounds, three with points and rebounds and one triple-double. Moving forward, Green is set to remain the starting power forward in what will mark his 13th NBA season with the Warriors. He should continue to make an impact across the stat sheet and help foster success with his defensive effort.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Dealing with wear-and-tear
Green is reportedly frustrated from having to guard centers and "players that are 40, 50 pounds heavier than him" on a regular basis, according to Marc J. Spears of ESPN.
ANALYSIS
"I'm hearing that Draymond's a little frustrated with having to guard centers and having the guys that are 40, 50 pounds heavier than him on a nightly basis," Spears said. The Warriors added Al Horford to bolster their frontcourt depth and allow Green to play more regularly at power forward, but injuries have limited the veteran big man to just 13 games so far. Green is far more effective when playing against power forwards, so the Warriors might look to bolster their center depth before the Feb. 5 trade deadline if the chance arises.
