Focusing on Monday night's NBA slate, here are some of the RotoWire NBA staff's favorite bets.
Jeff Edgerton: Theo Maledon OVER 11.5 points at HOU -- MGM Sportsbook
With George Hill out, Maledon is set for another start Monday, and after his 24-point performance against the Nets, it's hard to see a scenario where he doesn't beat this number. The Thunder are coming off multiple days of rest, giving Maledon more practice time with the first unit.
Knicks/Bulls UNDER 218.5 total points -- DraftKings Sportsbook
It's the fastest-paced team versus the slowest-paced team in this matchup. The problem with the Bulls is that they don't do nearly enough with their possessions, and the Knicks have a much more potent defense against opposing frontcourts. Chicago will be forced to win the perimeter game, and if their shots fail to fall, this total should come well under the number.
Ken Crites: Blake Griffin OVER 13.5 points (+100) vs. DEN -- DraftKings Sportsbook
The Nuggets are 19th in points allowed per game (111.7). They are also playing tonight on the second-half of a back-to-back, coming of a big emotional win over the Jazz. I suspect they'll be tired and uninterested as 8.5 favorites versus the Pistons. I like Griffin facing either a porous Michael Porter or aging Paul Millsap.
Nick Whalen: Bam Adebayo OVER 10.5 rebounds (-118) vs. CHA -- DraftKings Sportsbook
Adebayo is coming off of back-to-back 13-rebound games against the Clippers and Kings, the former of which is one of the league's best rebounding teams. Tonight, Adebayo goes up against the team with the worst defensive rebound percentage in the league. Charlotte is also 23rd in field goal percentage, while ranking 29th in opponents' offensive rebounds per game (11.1). With Adebayo staying out of foul trouble and averaging 35.0 minutes over his last nine games, I like his chances to clear 11 rebonds.
