3:00 p.m: Liverpool v. Paris Saint-Germain
3:00 p.m: Galatasaray v. Lokomotiv Moscow
3:00 p.m: Monaco v. Atletico Madrid
3:00 p.m: Schalke v. Porto
3:00 p.m: Club Brugge v. Borussia Dortmund
3:00 p.m: Red Star Belgrade v. Napoli

FORWARDS

Sinan Gumus, GAL v. LKM ($7,000): Gumus co-leads Galatasaray with 11 shots in five games this season, putting four of those on net while scoring once. Teammate Ered Derdiyok ($7,500) is expected to lead the line, and while he has more goal upside, Gumus comes in with a team-high eight chances created while also chipping in with nine tackles. Galatasaray likely won't get an easier match during the group stage, and they'll need a big performance from their front men if they're to take a step toward advancing to the knockout round.

Arkadiusz Milik, NAP at CRV ($9,000): Potentially leading the line for the biggest favorite on the slate, Milik comes in having taken 10 shots, and putting five on goal, in his first three Serie A starts while also creating three chances in a 33-minute substitute appearance last weekend against Fiorentina. Jose Maria Callejon ($10,000) is Napoli's main set-piece taker and leads them with 15 chances created, but he doesn't offer the shooting floor that Milik does. You probably can't go wrong with either, but Milik could be lower owned and he provides some salary savings.

Jelle Vossen, BRU v. DOR ($8,000): Vossen presents a bit of an off-the-radar selection, especially up against a popular Borussia Dortmund team. He's the designated penalty taker for Club Brugge and has already bagged four goals in four Jupiler League starts this season. Rostering Vossen is probably more for GPPs because he may not get a ton of opportunities with Dortmund likely to control possession, but there's little doubting that he'll be lower owned than the stars from other games. Or you could just pay up for Neymar ($13,500), whatever.

MIDFIELDERS

Lorenzo Insigne, NAP at CRV ($10,500): While Callejon is Napoli's main set-piece taker and leads them in chances created, Insigne is close behind with nine while also leading the team in shots (21), shots on goal (six) and goals (two). His relentless shooting doesn't always mean they're on frame, but with Napoli the biggest favorite on the slate with the highest implied goal total, there are clear reasons why Insigne is the preferred choice from the Napoli attack. For further exposure to their midfield, Allan ($6,500) is an interesting option because of his tackle floor (he leads the team with 22 and the next highest have nine), and he has the same number of chances created as Insigne.

James Milner, LIV v. PSG ($8,500): Understandably, Mohamed Salah ($11,500) and Sadio Mane ($10,500) will get attention from fantasy players because they have the highest upside among the Liverpool attackers, but Milner's combination of chances created and defensive work with tackles and interceptions makes him a more reliable option because of his lower price. That begin said, Salah leads the team in chances created and shots, and he leads them in shots on goal with Mane, who has scored more goals than any other Liverpool player this season.

Yacine Brahimi, POR at S04 ($7,000): It seems like Porto players are constantly overlooked on Champions League slates despite having a number of very viable plays. The problem comes about because there are usually a few elite clubs with overwhelming matchups, which forces you to look to them instead of Porto. However, with Liverpool hosting Paris Saint-Germain, and Napoli and Borussia Dortmund playing away, it's time for Porto to go under the spotlight. Brahimi leads the team with 10 shots, including four on goal, in four Primeira Liga matches this season, while he trails only forward Vincent Aboubakar ($10,000) in goals. He's much more of a GPP play given he's not really that prolific in the peripheral stats, but don't sleep on Brahimi, Aboubakar and ...

DEFENDERS

Alex Telles, POR at S04 ($5,500): Telles isn't your traditional fantasy defender, as his role on set pieces for a dynamic attack gives him more upside than arguably any player at his position on the slate. He has already created 12 chances while also adding six tackles, nine interceptions and eight clearances in four Primeira Liga matches. The defensive floor won't be that high, but Telles could make it all up while creating chances against a Schalke side that's allowed multiple goals in each of their three Bundesliga matches this season.

Vujadin Savic, CRV v. NAP ($4,500): Focusing more on the defensive side, Savic provides salary savings while likely getting plenty of opportunities for clearances, blocked shots, interceptions and tackles against the very active Napoli attack. He was solid in their Champions League qualifying 2-2 draw with RB Salzburg, finishing with five clearances, four interceptions, four tackles and one blocked shot, a solid return if we could get that at this price. Fellow center-back Milos Degenek ($5,500) is certainly in play as well, but I'd prefer to rack up the defensive stats while saving $1,000.

Benoit Poulain, BRU v. DOR ($4,000): Looking for even more savings, Poulain could provide just that as he's expected to start along Brugge's three-man back line. Borussia Dortmund haven't actually forced that many clearances during their three Bundesliga matches this season, but their powerful attack will surely keep Poulain and fellow center-backs Stefano Denswil ($5,000) and Matej Mitrovic ($4,500) busy enough to pay off their relatively low salaries.

GOALKEEPER

Fernando Muslera, GAL v. LKM ($5,000): As mentioned earlier, this is Galatasaray's easiest match of the group stage, and a win would be a huge start for their knockout round hopes. He has the highest win and clean sheet odds among the home goalkeepers on the slate, and Lokomotiv Moscow will be without starting striker Fyodor Smolov due to suspension. Galatasaray have been very strong at home this season, and Muslera has one of the safest matchups for a solid score.
