Player Recommendations
Toby Alderweireld (D): Alderweireld is averaging 5.1 clearances per game this season, the second-best mark on the team, and the Belgium international will be plenty busy against a Man City attack that can put up goals on any strong defensive line.
Christian Eriksen (M): Eriksen is one of the most underrated players in the world. The Denmark international is once again having an outstanding season for the club, joint-leading the Premier League with 12 assists. That's not it, as he has also scored six goals, fourth-most by any Spurs player in the current league campaign behind Harry Kane (17), Son Heung-Min (12) and Lucas Moura (10). Those numbers shows why Eriksen is truly a world-class talent and manager Mauricio Pochettino will be once again banking on one of his trusted players to produce a match-winning performance.
Sergio Aguero (F): Aguero co-leads the Premier League with 19 goals this season, tied with Liverpool's Mohamed Salah, and he's also added seven assists, the third-most on the team (trailing Leroy Sane's 12 and Raheem Sterling's nine). Those numbers shows why Aguero is so important for City, and Guardiola will be hoping to see another stellar performance from his star striker.
Captain pick: Son Heung-Min
Vice-captain pick: Sergio Aguero
