Xavier Smith

Year 2 for the Florida A&M product saw Smith finally break out of the practice squad, landing a role as the Rams' return man. He accumulated a solid 333 combined yards of return yardage, four rushes for 36 yards and a pair of catches for six yards in 17 games, including playoffs. A sudden breakout into the starting lineup seems unlikely for the 27-year-old, however, and his value for the Rams will continue to stem from his contributions as a return man while securing a handful of snaps on offense per game.
