2024 Fantasy Outlook
A converted wide receiver, Tracy joins a Giants backfield in need of dynamic playmaking after Saquon Barkley left for the Eagles. A fifth-round pick out of Purdue in 2024, Tracy runs with surprising power given his background, but it's his elusiveness and desire to squeeze every possible yard out of a run that stand out. He's still learning the nuances of being a running back and can get himself into trouble trying to do too much, but he could be a weapon on jet sweeps and as a kick returner right away behind starter Devin Singletary. Dealing with ankle issue
Tracy was a limited participant at Wednesday's practice due to an ankle injury, Patricia Traina of SI.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Tracy dealt with a right low-ankle sprain in August, but the health concern didn't affect his status for Week 1 and beyond. Since he regularly started earning a 60 percent snap share beginning Week 5 at Seattle, he's averaged 16.6 touches for 84.5 yards from scrimmage per game while scoring five rushing touchdowns over the last 10 contests. Tracy's status will be watched as the week continues to get a sense of his availability for Sunday's road matchup with the Falcons.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Increase in touches not guaranteed
Coach Brian Daboll did not commit to giving Tracy a larger role despite his strong performance in a Week 5 win over the Seahawks, Jordan Ranaan of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Tracy stepped into the lead back role due to Devin Singletary being sidelined by a groin injury and delivered 129 yards on 18 carries. Daboll praised Tracy's efficiency and gave him his due by saying he had a strong performance, but he also noted that the rookie's role would still be dependent on the Giants' game plan and opponent, and presumably by Singletary's health as well. The veteran back wasn't ruled out until late in the week ahead of the team's matchup against Seattle, and there's a strong chance that he will be able to return in Week 6 against Cincinnati.
