2024 Fantasy Outlook
A converted wide receiver, Tracy joins a Giants backfield in need of dynamic playmaking after Saquon Barkley left for the Eagles. A fifth-round pick out of Purdue in 2024, Tracy runs with surprising power given his background, but it's his elusiveness and desire to squeeze every possible yard out of a run that stand out. He's still learning the nuances of being a running back and can get himself into trouble trying to do too much, but he could be a weapon on jet sweeps and as a kick returner right away behind starter Devin Singletary. RANKS
Takes advantage of start on SNF
Tracy rushed 17 times for 50 yards and a touchdown while bringing in all six of his targets for 57 receiving yards in Sunday's 17-7 loss to the Bengals.
ANALYSIS
Tracy got to fill in as New York's top running back for the second consecutive week after Devin Singletary (groin) was ruled out just over 24 hours prior to Sunday night's kickoff. The 24-year-old Tracy was up to the task against Cincinnati, breaking the century mark in total yardage while scoring the first touchdown of his career. This comes on the heels of the rookie's 129-yard breakout performance against Seattle in Week 5. It sounds like Singletary may be close to returning to the field based on his near return Sunday, which would only hurt Tracy's skyrocketing fantasy value. Until that happens, fantasy managers should make sure Tracy is rostered ahead of next Sunday's tilt against the Eagles.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Increase in touches not guaranteed
Coach Brian Daboll did not commit to giving Tracy a larger role despite his strong performance in a Week 5 win over the Seahawks, Jordan Ranaan of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Tracy stepped into the lead back role due to Devin Singletary being sidelined by a groin injury and delivered 129 yards on 18 carries. Daboll praised Tracy's efficiency and gave him his due by saying he had a strong performance, but he also noted that the rookie's role would still be dependent on the Giants' game plan and opponent, and presumably by Singletary's health as well. The veteran back wasn't ruled out until late in the week ahead of the team's matchup against Seattle, and there's a strong chance that he will be able to return in Week 6 against Cincinnati.
