Faces added competition for snaps
Tillman will face increased competition for snaps and targets after the Browns drafted a pair of rookie wide receivers in first-rounder KC Concepcion and second-rounder Denzel Boston in the 2026 Draft, Zac Jackson of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Tillman was categorized by Jackson as one of the Browns' biggest losers following the draft and looks to be a candidate to be traded over the summer. He's headed into the final year of his rookie contract but has shown glimpses of playmaking ability when paired with a quarterback who can push the ball down the field and outside the numbers. He has a career 71-833-5 line on 132 targets across 38 regular-season appearances. Boston is viewed as Cleveland's perimeter wide receiver of the future, according to Jackson.

Tillman broke through in the middle of last season after the Browns traded Amari Cooper, recording three straight games in Weeks 7-9 with at least six catches, nine targets and 75 yards. A Week 10 bye broke his momentum, however, and he caught just five of 12 targets for 75 yards over the next two games before missing the rest of the year in concussion protocol. The 2023 third-round pick should have plenty of time to recover this offseason, and he's in good position for a top-three role after the Browns settled for Diontae Johnson as their "big" addition at wide receiver. The problem, apart from Cleveland's passing game potentially being terrible, is that Tillman has done so little in his career outside of the aforementioned three-game stretch. He drew targets on just 12.5 percent of his 352 routes as a rookie, catching less than half of those passes, and his per-route numbers were poor last season (17.9 percent target rate, 1.24 YPRR) despite the brief outburst while catching passes from Jameis Winston. Playing time won't necessarily lead to production, and Tillman's best chance at fantasy relevance likely involves Joe Flacco playing QB for Cleveland.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Could be trade candidate
Tillman might be traded this summer after the Browns made significant additions to their wide receiver depth chart during the 2026 NFL Draft, Zac Jackson of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
The 26-year-old was Cleveland's No. 2 wideout before the draft behind Jerry Jeudy, but after the club used a first-round pick on KC Concepcion and then doubled down on the position with Denzel Boston in the second round, Tillman could be squeezed off the roster entirely, A third-round pick in 2023, Tillman is heading into the final season of his rookie contract, but he's shown enough glimpses of upside while working with a revolving door at quarterback that a team with a more stable offensive setup and a need at receiver might take a chance on him.
