Carolina Panthers
2026 Fantasy Outlook
Coker went undrafted out of FCS Holy Cross in 2024, but that didn't stop him from earning a starting job with the Panthers by the end of his rookie season, ultimately posting a 32-478-2 receiving line in 11 games. His second pro campaign followed a similar trajectory, with a quad injury delaying his debut until Week 7. Coker didn't do much in his first four appearances, but he averaged 3.7 catches for 46.9 yards over the final seven weeks of the regular season (72.8 percent snap share), before exploding for 9-134-1 in a playoff loss to the Rams. Listed at 6-foot-3, 213, Coker wins with size, strength, leaping ability and strong hands. He ran a 4.57 40 at his pro day, failing to impress at first glance, but his 10-yard split (1.52) and a 42.5-inch vertical suggested high-level explosiveness. Coker has yet to be charged with a drop in the NFL, and while he'll never be an elite separator, the Panthers have seen enough to pencil him in as their No. 2 receiver across from Tetairoa McMillan. Inks ERFA tender
WRCarolina Panthers
April 20, 2026
Coker signed his exclusive-rights free-agent tender with the Panthers on Monday, Darin Gantt of the team's official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Coker was tendered by Carolina in early March and made his return to the team official Monday. The 24-year-old posted a 33-394-3 receiving line over 11 regular-season contests last year, nearly replicating his stats from his rookie 2024 campaign. However, Coker exploded for a 9-134-1 line in the Panthers' wild-card round loss to the Rams, and he could take another step forward as one of QB Bryce Young's top targets during the upcoming campaign.

2025 Fantasy Outlook
Coker earned a roster spot in Carolina as an undrafted rookie last year and eventually made his way into the starting lineup. He was the team's top slot receiver Weeks 5-10, averaging 2.8 catches for 43.8 yards on 4.2 targets, before missing three games with a quad injury and then returning to an offense that had a healthy Adam Thielen. The Panthers put Coker in a near-every-down role over the final four weeks, taking about 60 percent of his snaps on the perimeter, and he responded reasonably well with averages of 3.8 catches for 53.8 yards on 5.0 targets (albeit propped up by an 83-yard TD on a busted coverage). It's unlikely he would've gotten such an opportunity as an undrafted rookie on a better team, but that doesn't mean Coker is merely a product of circumstance. He was overlooked in the 2024 Draft due to a poor 40 time (4.57) and his small-school background (FCS Holy Cross), even though he thoroughly dominated the lesser competition (26 TDs in 2022-23) and confirmed his athleticism with a 42.5-inch vertical at 6-1, 208. Coker isn't just some feel-good story getting by temporarily on grit and know-how; his combination of strength, leaping ability and route-running is impressive enough to put him squarely in the mix for a starting job.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Labeled as key re-signing decision
WRCarolina Panthers
January 28, 2026
David Newton of ESPN.com labels signing Coker to a long-term deal a key priority for the Panthers this season.
ANALYSIS
Coker put together a second straight solid season in 2025, recording a 33-394-3 line on 43 targets across 11 games. The Holy Cross product then broke out for nine receptions, 134 yards and a touchdown during the wild-card loss to the Rams. Newton opines that instead of just retaining Coker on a one-year tender as an excusive-rights free agent, Carolina should prioritize locking him into a multi-year deal ahead of a 2026 season in which he's expected to serve as the team's No. 2 receiver.
