Joining Seattle's backfield
The Seahawks are slated to sign Wilson to a one-year deal worth up to $2.1 million, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
While working as Josh Jacobs' top backup with Green Bay in 2025, Wilson recorded 496 yards and three TDs on 125 carries, along with 99 yards on 15 catches in 17 regular-season games. With Kenneth Walker departing via free agency and Zach Charbonnet having suffered a torn ACL in January, Wilson could potentially earn a key early-season role in a Seattle backfield that also includes George Holani and Kenny McIntosh, though it's possible that the team adds further RB depth in the coming weeks and months.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2025
2024
An undrafted free agent out of Fort Valley State in 2023, Wilson emerged as a reliable depth option in the Packers' backfield last season. The 25-year-old essentially took over the No. 2 role behind Josh Jacobs that was expected to go to MarShawn Lloyd, turning 114 touches into 550 scrimmage yards and five total touchdowns while averaging a strong 4.9 yards per carry. All three backs are expected to return for Green Bay in 2025, but Wilson's usage could shrink significantly if Lloyd can overcome his injury issues.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Could get more Week 15 carries
Wilson could see an expanded workload Sunday against the Broncos, as Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports that Josh Jacobs didn't practice Thursday and is day-to-day due to a knee injury.
ANALYSIS
Jacobs missed Week 12 due to a knee injury and Wilson excelled while making a spot start, rushing for 107 yards and two touchdowns against the Vikings. The same knee apparently stiffened up on Jacobs in Week 14 against the Bears, putting his status for Week 15 against the Broncos in doubt. Denver boasts an elite run defense, but Wilson would likely handle a heavy workload nonetheless if Jacobs doesn't play Sunday.
