2026 Fantasy Outlook
An undrafted free agent out of Boise State in 2024, Holani carved out a spot on special teams to begin the 2025 campaign while seeing occasional work on offense before a hamstring injury ended his regular season Week 11, although he was able to return for Seattle's sprint to the Super Bowl. The Seahawks remade their backfield in the offseason, but the new look doesn't do any favors. While Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker is now in Kansas City, he got replaced by first-round pick Jadarian Price and free-agent signing Emanuel Wilson, and Zach Charbonnet will still have a significant role once he's recovered from his ACL surgery. Holani's profile as a power back with solid size and a 4.52 40-yard time could allow him to compete with Wilson for a short-yardage role while Charbonnet is sidelined, however. Read Past Outlooks

Taking most of first-team reps
Holani has often been the first running back through the rotation at Seattle's OTAs, according to Gregg Bell of The News Tribune.
ANALYSIS
With Kenneth Walker in Kansas City and Zach Charbonnet (knee) recovering from late-February ACL surgery, Holani is the veteran holdover in Seattle's backfield. First-round pick Jadarian Price is a clear favorite to lead the team in carries come Week 1, but it sounds like Holani is getting more snaps with the starters during the offseason program. Meanwhile, free-agent signing Emanuel Wilson reportedly is getting a lot of his work with the third-string offense. Holani, a 2024 UDFA, is still a long shot for mainstream fantasy value, but he's at least earning a spot on deep-sleeper lists and generating some interest as an end-game pick for best ball.

Holani put together a strong training camp and preseason to secure the No. 3 running back job behind Kenneth Walker and Zach Charbonnet. As long as the top two backs are upright, there won't be many reps available for Holani, but he should contribute as a kick returner in the meantime.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Activated from IR
Holani, who'd been on injured reserve since Nov. 29 due to a hamstring issue, was activated Friday, Brady Henderson of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Holani is in line to potentially serve as the Seahawks' No. 2 running back behind Kenneth Walker in Sunday's NFC Championship Game against the Rams, given Zach Charbonnet suffered a torn ACL in the divisional-round win over the 49ers last Saturday night. Holani logged a career-high 22 carries and 73 rushing yards during 11 regular-season appearances while also recording his first NFL touchdown. The Boise State product won't be the only candidate for complementary snaps behind Walker, however, as both Velus Jones and Cam Akers were promoted from the practice squad Saturday.
