In line to sign with Atlanta
Robinson is expected to sign with the Falcons, Matt Zenitz of CBSSports.com and NFL reporter Jordan Schultz report.
ANALYSIS
A third-round pick of the Commanders in 2022, Robinson spent the first three seasons of his career in Washington, ranging between 733 and 799 rushing yards in each campaign. He then was dealt to the 49ers in late August and served as Christian McCaffrey's top backup to the tune of 100 touches for 425 yards from scrimmage and two rushing TDs. Considering he'll be working behind another workhorse back in Bijan Robinson in Atlanta, Brian Robinson likely will take on a similar workload in his new locale.

Robinson was traded to San Francisco on Aug. 22, after starting the last three years for Washington, a span in which he averaged roughly 965 rushing yards per 17 games, at 4.1 yards per carry. That likely makes Robinson a below-average pure runner by starting-RB standards, but his combination of size and decent passing-game skills has some value to an offense. In San Francisco, he'll compete with Isaac Guerendo for the No. 2 spot on the depth chart, needing an injury to Christian McCaffrey for any real shot at fantasy value. It's a far less promising situation than Robinson's former backfield timeshare with Austin Ekeler in Washington.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Seattle's answer for Walker?
The Seahawks are in need of a replacement for Kenneth Walker after he signed with the Chiefs, and Bill Barnwell of ESPN.com believes that Robinson's bruising running style would make him a good fit for Seattle.
ANALYSIS
Robinson saw work as the lead back for the Commanders in his first three years in the NFL before being traded to the 49ers in August. He operated as the Niners' RB2 behind workhorse Christian McCaffrey, and Robinson ended the regular season with 92 carries for 400 yards and two touchdowns across 17 games, all career lows. Robinson struggles in pass protection and had some fumbling issues earlier in his career, but he's an effective runner between the tackles and gains yards consistently. With Walker gone and Zach Charbonnet expected to miss the start of the 2026 season due to a torn ACL, Robinson would have the opportunity to serve as the No. 1 back for the Seahawks.
