THE SLATE

Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv at Panathinaikos OPAP Athens

Status Check: Khyri Thomas (MTA), Oz Blayzer (MTA), Stefan Jovic (PAO), Lefteris Bochoridis (PAO)

Best Bets for Success: Three makeup games will be played Tuesday, but only the first two will be included on the DraftKings slate. The outcome of the first contest will only truly be meaningful to the visitors, as Panathinaikos has already been eliminated from the playoff race. However, Maccabi is favored by only a few points, so they figure to utilize a short rotation like they did in the last couple contests. The home team is allowing both guards and forwards to get plenty involved, which is good news for both Scottie Wilbekin and James Nunnally. The duo combined to score 34 of their team's 77 points when these teams squared off in Round 5, and with them both hitting the 30-point mark on DraftKings several times in recent weeks, they could match or surpass that total Tuesday. Maccabi has been friendly to guards as well -- particularly behind the three-point arc -- which puts Nemanja Nedovic in position to hit double digits for the 10th game in a row. We didn't forget about Georgios Papagiannis, who is the highest-priced player on the board, and for good reason, having put up at least 29.8 DraftKings points in four of his last five appearances.

DFS Darlings: The Greek team ranks bottom-4 against backcourt players in five of the six counting stats and is allowing players at those positions to get up more shots than any other team, which bodes well not only for Wilbekin but Keenan Evans as well. Evans is back up to $8,100 on DraftKings, but he is also back at full speed after missing a couple games, and that's not bad for a player who has hit the 25-point mark on that website nine times this season. With Thomas out, either John DiBartolomeo or Yiftach Ziv could be worth a dart throw. The Greek team is not allowing centers to do much scoring, but Jalen Reynolds is cheap enough to consider at $7,100. Panathinaikos will have a key piece back in Ioannis Papapetrou, which will affect their rotation to some degree. Conditioning remains a concern for Papapetrou, but he is returning some of the most average value on the board. Howard Sant-Roos will cost you $1,000 more than he did in Round 32, but he is in the mix after putting up at least 30.3 points on DraftKings twice in the last four games.

ALBA Berlin at Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul

Status Check: Luke Sikma (BER), Marcus Eriksson (BER), Tamir Blatt (BER), Louis Olinde (BER), Tim Schneider (BER), Nando de Colo (FBB), Ahmet Duverioglu (FBB), Tarik Biberovic (FBB)

Best Bets for Success: Neither of these teams has officially been eliminated from the playoff race, but they certainly didn't do themselves any favors by dropping games in Round 32, and both remain in must-win mode. The minutes were spread out pretty evenly in the two games the home team played last week, and the fantasy points were as well, so you could make a case for a number of Fenerbahce players here. However, with de Colo out and several other players still getting up to full speed, Marko Guduric seems like the safest option to produce. Guduric averaged 26.2 DraftKings points over his last 10 games, and he will take on an ALBA team ceding the most assists to opposing guards. With Sikma and Blatt sidelined, it's pretty easy to identify the top targets on the German team, and they are both in the backcourt. It took Maodo Lo almost no time to shake off a minor setback, and he topped the 30-point mark on DraftKings for the sixth time this season his last time out. One of the other five instances came against this same Fenerbahce team in Round 3. Jaleen Smith did not do a lot in that game, but he has lately, averaging 24.5 DraftKings points over the last six contests, five of which came with Lo starting beside him. Smith is no longer the bargain he once was, but it's tough to match his recent consistency.

DFS Darlings: It's not easy to separate the Fenerbahce players in this section either, because there a lot of them who carry appeal Tuesday. We'll start with Jan Vesely, who nearly landed in the section above but will slot in here with his workload uncertain. At his current $8,400 price point, though, Vesely is returning far more value than any other player to choose from. Pierria Henry checks in second on the same list, and that's because his price has slipped to $7,600. Besides allowing guards to rack up all kinds of assists, they are also allowing them to snag a lot of steals, and both numbers work in Henry's favor. Achille Polonara is listed as a center, but he figures to see plenty of action at the four spot, which will allow him to take advantage of a defense giving up some of the most shots to opposing forwards. The final name we will list is Marial Shayok, who could start and is listed at a meager $4,600 on DraftKings. Oscar da Silva was quiet his last time out, but he looks like one of the best bargains on the board. da Silva recorded at least 24.8 DraftKings points in three straight games before his last appearance, and he put up a season-high 34.3 points on that website when these teams last met. Fenerbahce has been stingier on centers than any other team, so it's tough to find a lot more to like on the ALBA side.

FC Bayern Munich at AX Armani Exchange Milan

Status Check: Corey Walden (BAY), Nick Weiler-Babb (BAY), Othello Hunter (BAY), Andreas Obst (BAY), Trey Kell (AXM)

Best Bets for Success: While this game is not on the DraftKings slate, we'll give it a quick rundown anyway. The home team has clinched a playoff spot, and they are favored by around six points, which is the same number Bayern won by when these teams faced each other in Round 6. The visitors, sandwiched around an extended break due to COVID-19, lost three of their last four, but they likely need to win only three -- and maybe less -- of their last six games to secure a playoff spot. The over/under on this game falls beneath 150, but the two teams combined for 160 points when they last saw each other. Bayern makes things pretty tough for players at every position, but it could be a nice night for Shavon Shields and Nicolo Melli, as forwards combined for 49 of Milan's 77 points in the last meeting. As noted by the list of players above, Bayern is not back at full strength, but they will have their top two players -- Vladimir Lucic and Darrun Hilliard -- available at the same time for just the 11th time all season. Both players will have their work cut out for them, as the Italian team contains guards as well as anyone and also handles forwards fairly well.

DFS Darlings: Keep an eye on Konstantinos Mitoglou in this one. He has not played much in recent months, but he nearly dropped a double-double in Sunday's domestic game and could be ready to reassume a key role. If all four of the Bayern players on the injured list wind up sidelined, Augustine Rubit -- who found himself in the section above in Round 31 -- and Zan Mark Sisko will be a couple players to watch.
