STATS AND INFO.

THE SLATE

Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade at AS Monaco

Status Check: Nikola Kalinic (CZV), Nikola Ivanovic (CZV), Aaron White (CZV), Brock Motum (ASM)

Best Bets for Success: The priciest player on the slate -- Monaco's Mike James -- kicks off the first day of action in the double-game week. James is not scoring like he usually does, but he has picked up the slack in other areas and has not recorded fewer than 27.8 points on DraftKings in any game this season. Even at $11,000 James is returning over 3x value, but he will have his work cut out for him Tuesday facing a Red Star team that contains opposing guards pretty well and is allowing the fewest points per game in the league. The Serbian squad's top option this season has steadily been Kalinic, but his DraftKings total decreased each of the past three Rounds and he carries an injury designation into this one, so at least for one Round we will change things up. Nate Wolters is next in line given that he leads the team in points and is second in minutes per game. However, Monaco isn't allowing guards to put many points on the board and has been getting torched by opposing frontcourt players, so if Kalinic sits look for Luka Mitrovic to be Red Star's best option in Round 6. The big man -- just $8,000 on DraftKings -- struggled a bit in Round 4, but he bounced back last week and has come close to adding two more double-doubles to the one he put up in Round 2.

DFS Darlings: Given Monaco's injuries and defensive tendencies mentioned above, a few less-heralded Red Star players will be worthy of consideration in Tuesday's contests. It's a bit tricky determining which players to target with Red Star getting a couple players back in Round 5, but Ognjen Dobric and Ognjen Kuzmic seem to inspire the most confidence, particularly with both impressing in their last domestic appearance. It will be a bit risky going with any Monaco guard besides James on Tuesday, and the team's frontcourt is in a bit of flux. This could be a good spot for Donta Hall to bounce back, but Will Thomas and particularly Donatas Motiejunas both seem more appealing on DraftKings at their price points.

FC Barcelona at Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul

Status Check: Alex Abrines (BAR), Pierre Oriola (BAR), Danilo Barthel (FBB)

Best Bets for Success: This game features the most star power of the day, and it's pretty easy to spot the top dog on the away side, but not so much for the home team. Nikola Mirotic spent only 15 minutes on the floor last week, but that was enough for him to put up at least 32.0 points on DraftKings for the third time in five Rounds. While Mirotic is the man for Barcelona, Nick Calathes is in line to have a nice night as well. Calathes is averaging 33.6 DraftKings points in games he plays at least 25 minutes, and he should see at least that many in what should be a competitive contest. Fenerbahce has a deep roster, and the Turkish team has had at least three players top the 20-point mark on DraftKings in every game, but rarely the same ones. Barcelona has been pretty neutral against all positions defensively, so that doesn't help much in the identification process for Round 6. At the end of the day, we'll go with Nando de Colo as Fenerbahce's safest pick, as he has put up at least 23.3 DraftKings points in four straight Rounds. We'll give Jan Vesely and Devin Booker a nod here as well, as they check in at their lowest DraftKings prices of the season and should get plenty of minutes Tuesday.

DFS Darlings: Cory Higgins is also down to his cheapest price at $7,600, and Barcelona's sharpshooter seems due to show up for this one. Sertac Sanli also seems like a nice option on DraftKings at just $6,600, as Barcelona will need to lean on some size to combat Fenerbahce's talented frontcourt. The Turkish team's rotation should not change much from last Round, so the value options seem minimal. Marko Guduric remains too talented to cost only $7,200 on DraftKings, however.

ALBA Berlin at Olympiacos Piraeus

Status Check: Marcus Eriksson (BER), Ben Lammers (BER), Yovel Zoosman (BER), Tim Schneider (BER), Kostas Papanikolaou (OLY), Hassan Martin (OLY)

Best Bets for Success: Teams have had a tough time containing ALBA big men Luke Sikma and Oscar da Silva all season, and Olympiacos could too, as they will be down one of their two centers in Martin and could be without Papanikolaou as well. The only concern for the German team's top duo is playing time, as a couple fellow big men returned to action over the weekend. Sikma's track record makes him a bit safer, and his DraftKings price has not ballooned like da Silva's. Both players would get some boost if both Zoosman and Schneider are sidelined for this one. Olympiacos' top player, Sasha Vezenkov, has slowed some in recent Rounds, but he's back down to an affordable $9,500 on DraftKings. That's good news for those hoping to get Vezenkov in their lineups, especially when you consider he posted a 31-point, 10-rebound double-double against ALBA and roughly the same set of frontcourt players last time he faced them. He too would get a bump in value if both injured players on his squad sit out.

DFS Darlings: Injuries could open up some opportunities in this one, though it won't be known closer to game time which of the questionable players will take the court. ALBA's top players could benefit most if there are more absences than expected, but Louis Olinde would at least have a shot to return 3x value if none of the German team's uncertain players suit up. With Martin out, Moustapha Fall could see some extra minutes, but ALBA does have more size than they have had all season. With some smaller big men on the opposing side, Livio Jean-Charles and Georgios Printezis could be better bets, particularly if Papanikolaou sits. ALBA is allowing its fair share of stats to guards, which makes Thomas Walkup interesting at a season-low $7,100.

Zalgiris Kaunas at Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv

Status Check: Joffrey Lauvergne (ZAL)

Best Bets for Success: It's been a rough start for the visitors, who are the only winless team in the league, but they will be nearly back at full strength, as Emmanuel Mudiay and Janis Strelnieks are set to return. Those players are interesting on DraftKings, but it's not clear how healthy they are. As such, Josh Nebo remains the clear top option for Zalgiris for another Round. That should not come as a surprise, as the big man has shined in place of the injured Lauvergne, averaging 12.7 points, 9.0 rebounds and 1.0 blocks in his three starts. Things may not come as easy for him in this one, though, as Maccabi has been one of the best against players at the center spot. Maccabi has a few players rolling of late, but this matchup sets up Scottie Wilbekin the best, as Zalgiris has had a lot of trouble with opposing guards. James Nunnally appears to be a plenty safe option, but he's getting a little too pricey on DraftKings.

DFS Darlings: Maccabi has not been getting much from their complementary players, so their options for value plays are a little light. Derrick Williams, at $6,900, and Ante Zizic, at $6,200, are at least reasonably priced for their talent level. Zalgiris had a few cheap players hit in recent Rounds due to injuries, but with them as healthy as they've been in a while, it's unlikely that will continue. Strelnieks, averaging 21.2 DraftKings points but checking in at just $6,700, is the most appealing of the bunch.

AX Armani Exchange Milan at FC Bayern Munich

Status Check: Malcolm Delaney (AXM), Riccardo Moraschini (AXM), Corey Walden (BAY), Paul Zipser (BAY), Leon Radosevic (BAY)

Best Bets for Success: The first day of the double-game week concludes with a rematch between two teams who squared off in a thrilling five-game playoff series a season ago. These squads have gone in different directions since, with the victorious Milan team sitting atop the standings and the German team just picking up its first EuroLeague win. Bayern should improve moving forward, though, as Vladimir Lucic is back in the fold. Although he just made his season debut last week, we don't need to see any more before reinstalling him as Bayern's top pick. Lucic was a bit up-and-down against Milan last season, but he's an affordable $9,400 on DraftKings. The Italian team has had a couple steady producers of late, but they will be without one of them Tuesday -- and for a while -- with Delaney sidelined. With that in mind, Shavon Shields seems safer than usual, even against a Bayern team handling forwards fairly well. Shields dropped double digits in the last four games of the aforementioned series and put up a career-best 34 points in the clincher.

DFS Darlings: With Delaney out and Moraschini presumably joining him, all four guards slated to suit up for Milan on Tuesday will have some sort of appeal on DraftKings, particularly against a Bayern team that has not been too stout against backcourt players. Sergio Rodriguez is quite a bit pricier than the rest of the options, but he's also the most likely to come through, as since the start of last season he has averaged 11.8 points, 2.7 rebounds and 5.2 assists in games in which he plays 20 minutes. Devon Hall is intriguing with his price back down to $7,200, a $5,400 Jerian Grant gets a mention in a spot he needs to come through in, and Troy Daniels is an interesting dart throw at $4,200. Walden has been one of Bayern's best players, but he's a risk given his injury. Should he sit, Nick Weiler-Babb and Zan Sisko would stand to benefit most.
