FanDuel NBA: Wednesday Value Plays

FanDuel NBA: Wednesday Value Plays

This article is part of our FanDuel NBA series.

Wednesday's NBA slate is on the busy side, with 10 games on the docket after 7:00 PM Eastern time.

Read on to see which players stand out from the pack as the top value plays at their respective prices. FanDuel's format only counts the eight highest scores in your nine-player lineup, so keep that in mind when making your selections.

POINT GUARD

Derrick White, SA at ATL ($6,700): White's workload has ramped all the way back up after he missed some time with a heel injury. His minutes have climbed from 25 to 29 to 30 to 36 in the last four games, and he's averaged 38.4 fantasy points over the past three. Don't expect San Antonio's underrated point guard to slow down against a Hawks team that's surrendering a league-worst 119.0 points per game.

Spencer Dinwiddie, BKN vs. CLE ($6,300): Dinwiddie hasn't looked out of place in three games since returning from a thumb injury, recording 13.7 PPG and 4.7 APG over 23 minutes per contest -- a similar per-minute rate to the 17.0 PPG and 5.0 APG he's put up in 28 minutes per game for the season. His production should scale up as his playing time increases, and even if his minutes stay the same for now, Dinwiddie should produce against a Cleveland team with a league-worst 116.1 defensive rating.

SHOOTING GUARD

Luka Doncic, DAL at WAS ($9,300): Doncic is coming off a pair of relative clunkers, putting together only 19.0 PPG, 5.0 RPG and 1.5 APG against Memphis and Brooklyn. While some owners will be reluctant to turn his way after those performances, those who do stand to benefit from the talented rookie's immense ceiling in this highly favorable matchup. Capable of dropping 30 points and/or recording a triple double on any given night, Doncic is likely to end his cold spell against a Wizards team that has the fifth-worst defensive rating (112.3) and plays at the eighth-fastest pace (102.7). The Hawks are the only other team to rank among both the eight fastest and eight worst in defensive rating.

Allonzo Trier, NY at PHO ($5,200): Trier has been in the zone over the past four games, pouring in 22.3 PPG, including 29 with eight rebounds and two steals Monday in Sacramento. Iso Zo should continue to produce against a Suns team that sports the league's second-worst defensive rating (113.7).

SMALL FORWARD

Harrison Barnes, SAC vs. BOS ($6,000): Barnes is thriving at the power forward position with Marvin Bagley sidelined with a knee injury. Over the past three games -- starting with the one in which Bagley got hurt -- Barnes is averaging 17.3 PPG and 8.7 RPG, taking advantage of Sacramento's league-leading pace. Barnes should keep rolling against a Celtics team that's playing its second game in as many nights.

Kelly Oubre, PHO vs. NY ($7,700): Oubre outplayed Giannis Antetokounmpo with 27 points and 13 rebounds in Monday's win over the Bucks, and he should have no trouble doing the same to Knicks forward Kevin Knox. The former Wizard has fit in nicely in Phoenix, and he's starting to show more consistency on the offensive end, with 23-plus points in four of the past nine games. Oubre is also capable of the occasional outburst on the glass, having pulled down at least 12 rebounds twice in these past nine games. Another strong performance in both categories is likely forthcoming against a Knicks team that's allowing the sixth-most points (114.3) and second-most rebounds (56.3) per game.

POWER FORWARD

Frank Kaminsky, CHA vs. MIA ($3,700): Kaminsky has been the biggest beneficiary of the recent shakeup to Charlotte's rotation. After serving as a healthy scratch for four consecutive games, the sharpshooting big man has averaged 26 minutes of court time in the last two, capitalizing on the opportunity with 16.5 PPG and 7.0 RPG. Kaminsky's price hasn't reacted much to his recent success, making him a strong bargain pick here.

Julius Randle, NO vs. UTA ($9,500): The Jazz had no answer for Randle in Utah on Monday, as he shredded the team's supposedly formidable defense for 56.1 fantasy points. That was his fourth time scoring 50.0 or more in the past five games, so it's hard to bet against a repeat effort from Randle in this home rematch.

CENTER

Andre Drummond, DET vs. MIN ($10,000): The Timberwolves have struggled defensively and on the glass on the road (allowing the fifth-most points and seventh-most rebounds per game), and those problems should be further exacerbated in the second leg of a back-to-back. Few players are better positioned to capitalize on such weaknesses than Drummond, who averages 17.4 PPG and a league-high 15.1 RPG. The big man is also a major contributor in the hustle stats, with 1.7 steals and 1.7 blocks per game.
