FanDuel NBA: Wednesday Value Plays

FanDuel NBA: Wednesday Value Plays

This article is part of our FanDuel NBA series.

With nine games on the schedule for Wednesday's slate, there's a ton of options to sort through at all levels of the price scale. The following list should provide a handful of players to consider building your lineup around:

GUARDS:

John Wall, WAS at ATL ($8,700): Wall draws a great matchup against a Hawks defense that gives up the seventh most FanDuel points to point guards. He's also priced at just $8,700, which is his lowest cost of the entire season. It's a great opportunity to snag Wall at a discounted price, as it's only going to go up moving forward. Wall has also posted double-digit assists in three of the last four games and is coming off a 50.0-FanDuel-point showing against the Celtics on Christmas Day, so it's not like he's currently going through a slump.

Kris Dunn, CHI vs NYK ($7,900): Like Wall, Dunn is also heading into a favorable fantasy situation matched up against the Knicks, who have given up the second most FanDuel points per game to point guards on the season. This pick is also based on the fact that he's really picked up his game of late, scoring 35 or more FanDuel points in four of his last five games, including a 54-FanDuel-point showing on Tuesday against the Bucks.

Jordan Clarkson, LAL vs MEM ($5,500): The Lakers are set to be without Lonzo Ball for the second straight game, as he continues to deal with a sprained left shoulder. Clarkson started in place of Ball on Monday, posting 17 points, six rebounds, seven assists and four steals across 35 minutes. That was good enough for 45.7 FanDuel points, which is some great upside for a guy that's still only a mid-5,000 priced player.

FORWARDS:

Anthony Davis, NOP vs BKN ($11,200): Despite Davis' injury history and frequent trips to the locker room during games, he's still one of the more intriguing expensive options for Wednesday's slate. He's facing off with one of the worst defenses in the league, with the Nets giving up the most FanDuel points per game on the season to power forwards. Davis has also had 50 or more FanDuel points of his own in four of the last six games, so he's playing well and has the matchup to be one of the better top-tier options.

Kyle Kuzma, LAL vs MEM ($7,400): Kuzma continues to benefit with big minutes due to Brook Lopez's absence because of an ankle injury. Since Lopez went down, Kuzma has started the subsequent four games, a stretch where he averaged an impressive 28.5 points, 7.8 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.3 steals across 39.8 minutes. That was good enough for an average of 46.3 FanDuel points, which is very good value for a price of $7,400.

Lance Stephenson, IND vs. DAL ($4,800): This pick is largely dependent on whether or not Victor Oladipo (knee) sits out or not. If Oladipo is unable to give it a go, Stephenson becomes an intriguing cheap value play, as he'd be one of the main beneficiaries of his minutes. He's got a favorable matchup against the Mavericks and has proven in the past he can put up some strong numbers when the ball is in his hands, so Oladipo's injury will be something to monitor up until lineup lock.

CENTERS:

Kevin Love, CLE at SAC ($8,400): Love's price continues to grow and is at one of his higher tags of the season, which is usually something I prefer to avoid. That said, he's playing too well for me to stray away and he'll have every opportunity to put up some strong numbers against a Kings' defense that gives up the second most FanDuel points to centers on the season. Over his last three games, Love has put up 54.6, 37.4 and 40.0 FanDuel points.

Enes Kanter, NYK at CHI ($6,000): Like Love, Kanter has been extremely hot of late. Over his last two games, he's put up a whopping 56.9 and 56.7 FanDuel points against the 76ers and Pistons. While the Bulls have played a lot better of late, that still doesn't scare me away from using Kanter against them, so I'm going to try and ride his hot streak once again Wednesday. If Kanter can hit the 40s or 50s for FanDuel points, that would be extremely good value for a price of just $6,000.
