DraftKings NBA: Tuesday Cheatsheet

While we only get six games on this short Tuesday slate, it should be full of fun action. What's really fascinating about this slate is the pace that it's going to be played at. In fact, we have eight teams who rank top-12 in pace on this schedule, as that should make for some high-scoring games. That means your typical 300-point goal might not get it done. That's why we're going all values in this article, as it's going to be critical to get studs like James Harden, Stephen Curry and Karl-Anthony Towns into your lineup to surpass that 300-point mark.

Guards

D'Angelo Russell, BRK at SAC ($7,400): Russell has too much upside to be this cheap. That was evident on Monday when he dropped 58 DK points at just $7,100. That's no surprise from a player who has at least 26 fantasy points in 22 straight games while averaging 40 DraftKings points per game in that span. The matchup is the best part about this play though, with Sacramento ranking second in pace while owning a 30th OPRK against points guards according to DraftKings. In his one game against the Kings earlier this season, Russell collected 55.5 fantasy points, if you needed any more incentive.

Chris Paul, HOU at ATL ($7,100): Paul just continues to be undervalued on DraftKings, as he should be closer to $8,000. In fact, Paul has at least 29 fantasy points in all but one of his 20 games since returning from injury, averaging 38.3 DK points per game in that span. That form is spectacular for a $7,100 player and he should continue it in this tasty matchup. Not only does Atlanta rank first in pace, they also allow the second-most fantasy points to opposing point guards. That was clear when Paul dropped 42.5 DK points in their one meeting this season.

Darren Collison, IND at LAC ($5,800): Collison has been running the show since Victor Oladipo (knee) went down and it's hard to understand why he remains below $6,000. Not only does he have at least 22 DK points in 21 straight games, Collison is also averaging 32 fantasy points per game in that span. He's been even better recently, averaging 35.3 DraftKings points per game across his last four outings. That's all you can ask for from a $5,800 player, as he also gets to face a Clippers team who sits 27th in OPRK against point guards this season.

Forwards

Thaddeus Young, IND at LAC ($5,900): Young is mainstay in my articles, as he's a 5X monster in this price range. What makes him so reliable is his floor, as he has at least 20 fantasy points in 46 straight games. Young is also averaging 33 DK points per game in that span, and that alone is approaching 6X value. The Clippers are a matchup we want to exploit too, as they currently rank 23rd in total defense and ninth in pace. That's huge for an athletic big like Young, who happened to score 36.3 DK points in just 23 minutes in his only game against Los Angeles earlier this season.

Dewayne Dedmon, ATL vs. HOU ($5,600): It's strange to see Dedmon with power forward eligibility, but that makes him one of the best plays on the board. Not only does that open up the door for more lineup reconstruction, it also allows you to get three centers into your build. The position versatility is just a small piece of the pie with Dedmon, though. The Atlanta center continues to be undervalued on DraftKings, as he has at least 22 DK points in 13 straight games while averaging 33.3 fantasy points per game in that span. That's more indicative of a $7,000 player and he should perform well against a Houston team who ranks 21st in defensive efficiency.

Caris LeVert, BRK at SAC ($4,900): With Allen Crabbe (knee) injured, LeVert has found himself right back into the starting lineup. It's done wonders for his numbers too, with LeVert collecting 26.5 DK points in 32 minutes on Sunday. That's the LeVert we've become accustomed to, as he's averaging 27 fantasy points per game for the season. The matchup is the icing on the cake though, with the Kings ranking second in pace and 26th in total defense.

Centers

Clint Capela, HOU at ATL ($7,700): Capela probably has the highest floor of any center on this slate outside of Towns, as he has at least 21 fantasy points in every game this season. He's been even better recently, scoring at least 32 DK points in seven straight outings. That sort of reliability becomes particularly intriguing in a superb matchup like this, with Atlanta ranking first in pace and dead-last in total defense. A rim-to-rim runner like Capela thrives in games with pace and the uptick here should make him a great bet for a 20-point, 15-rebound game.

Myles Turner, IND at LAC ($6,200): Turner has been undervalued on DraftKings all season. His 32 fantasy points per game average exemplifies that fact, as that alone is approaching 6X value. He's actually been even better since the opening month, with Turner averaging 36 DraftKings points per game across his last 50 outings. What really makes Turner an enticing option on this slate is the matchup though. Not only does Los Angeles allows the most fantasy points in the league to opposing centers, Turner collected 45 DK points the one time they played them earlier this season.
