DraftKings NBA: Tuesday Cheat Sheet

DraftKings NBA: Tuesday Cheat Sheet

This article is part of our DraftKings NBA series.

Guards

Devin Booker, PHX vs. BRK ($8,200): Booker is the number one guy to use in this Phoenix stack. He's averaging 41 fantasy points per game and thus far has had a 35-DK-point floor. Booker is far and away the Suns' leader in usage, with a 31.5 percent rate that includes nearly 20 shots per game. The fact that Brooklyn ranks 20th in defensive efficiency just adds to Booker's upside.

D'Angelo Russell, BRK at PHX ($6,000): Russell has been inconsistent throughout the year but the fact that he's still averaging 30 DraftKings points per game shows just how good he can be. That alone is 5X value, as that should be Russell's floor in this advantageous matchup. Phoenix currently ranks 28th in defensive efficiency, and Russell averaged 28 points, 6.0 rebounds and 6.0 assists in two games against the Suns last season.

Isaiah Canaan, PHX vs. BRK ($3,800): Getting any starting point guard south of $4,000 is worth a dart throw, especially if he's playing 30 minutes a game. Canaan is playing over 30 minutes a game in the seven starts he's made, and he's averaging nearly 20 DraftKings points per outing. That may sound like nothing special, but that's 6X value at this incredible price tag. Using a $3,800 player makes your lineup so much easier to build, as it opens up the door for my next recommendation.

Forwards

Giannis Antetokounmpo, MIL at POR ($12,600): Giannis is playing at an MVP level right now, and he'll be difficult to fade in a short four-game slate. Not only is he averaging 57 fantasy points per game, but Antetokounmpo is currently leading the NBA in usage rate among qualified players. He's especially valuable Tuesday when you consider that the next highest priced power forward is south of $6,000. Portland is currently allowing the ninth-most fantasy points to opposing power forwards if you need any more incentive to use him.

Khris Middleton, MIL at POR ($7,000): Middleton is simply too cheap to pass up on at this price tag, as he's usually an $8,000 player. That was evident when he was priced at $7,600 just a couple weeks ago, as Middleton is still averaging 36 fantasy points per game. That's already north of 5X value, as Middleton should abuse this favorable matchup. In fact, Portland has really struggled against small forwards this season, allowing the second-most fantasy points to them for the season.

Centers

DeAndre Ayton, PHX vs. BRK ($7,500): Ayton has lived up to expectations thus far, as he's averaging 38 fantasy points per game through the first three weeks of the season. He's scored at least 36 fantasy points in all but two games this season -- both of which happened to be blowouts -- establishing a rare high floor for a rookie fantasy commodity. There's not much blowout potential in this matchup between two bad teams, and it's worth noting that the Nets allow the most fantasy points per game to opposing centers.

Dwight Howard, WSH at DAL ($6,100): Howard has played only two games this season, as his price hasn't quite caught up to where it should be. The fact that he played 31 minutes in his last game means the restrictions should be off, and he's scored at least 28 fantasy points in both games he's played. The Wizards are still a mess on offense, but they need Howard's rim-protecting and glass-cleaning presence.

Jarrett Allen, BRK at PHX ($5,200): Allen remains wildly underpriced and is currently averaging 28 fantasy points per game, which is just south of 6X value. He has at least 22 fantasy points in all but one game implies that he has 4X floor, which is all you can ask for from just about any player. The Nets may be the worst team in the league at defending centers, but the Suns aren't much better, ranking sixth in fantasy points allowed to the position.
