The Skinny

The Sparks will likely enter this contest severely shorthanded with Candace Parker already ruled out and Alana Beard doubtful for the contest. This means minutes and value may abound from others remaining in the rotation. Among the higher priced players, Nneka Ogwumike checks in as the top value in terms of budget disparity in favor of FanDuel users. No Candace Parker again should open the door for the Oguwmike sisters to embrace expanded offensive roles. This holds especially true versus an Atlanta squad that boasts the second-worst rebound rate in the league. Marina Mabrey and Kalani Brown also saw enlarged roles with Parker and Beard playing minimal combined time in the last contest, potentially boosting the pair to lineup filler status. The two sides rank in the bottom half of defensive ratings, which bodes well for a decent amount of points scored.

Atlanta's players benefit from facing an opponent who ranks in the top three in terms of pace, likely resulting in more possessions and fantasy points than usual. The team has struggled to find consistent scoring, recording just seven individual double-digit efforts over the last three games (four versus Connecticut). Elizabeth Williams represents the biggest threat for the club, but the Sparks have fared well against forwards so far this season, allowing just 25.3 points per contest to the opposition with the forward designation. Don't look for any of the Dream to supply the double-double bonus on DraftKings either, as a player has hauled in double-digit rebounds just four times all season.

The Skinny

While Connecticut features the second-most efficient offense in the WNBA, the Sun's opportunities to utilize it may be few Saturday against a Fever squad that ranks second-slowest in terms of pace. While Jonquel Jones has slowed down following a hot start to the season, Sunday may serve as a bounce-back point for her. Indiana lets up the second-most points (17.4) to opposing centers and another 7.6 boards per contest (15.5 more to forwards), potentially putting a double-double on the radar for Jones once again. Guards have not fared as well in terms of scoring, but the fever do allow the second-most assists (14.5) to opposing guards, highlighting Jasmine Thomas' biggest strength.

Connecticut plays fairly sound defense, so finding value on Indiana's team may be somewhat unpredictable. That may hold added weight when looking at the team's spread of rotation minutes. While the team has usually stuck to a seven- or eight-player rotation, that changed Friday evening, when 11 players saw double-digit minutes and just three played more than 20. This was likely due to the blowout nature of the contest, but it's worth noting that the Fever made a strong push with a plus-18 score differential in the fourth quarter. The Sun typically force ball movement, resulting in a league-high 19.4 assists per game allowed. That happens to fall into the area of Erica Wheeler, who could provide some value Sunday.

The Skinny

The two sides enter this contest on completely opposite ends of the spectrum in terms of injuries. While the Sky have none to report ahead of the contest, the Wings enter with up two five players on the shelf. Dallas' second-slowest pace in the WNBA will shut down some of the upside for Sky players facing a shorthanded opposition, but the Wings still allow the fifth-most points, third-most assists and fourth-most blocks to opposing forwards. Diamond DeShields checks the boxes for both scoring and assists, while Jantel Lavender and Cheyenne Parker could sneak into lineup filler territory as potential block contributors.

With the Wings heavily banged up, Dallas will presumably employ a shallow rotation Sunday. Look for Glory Johnson to play huge minutes again in her third game back from EuroBasket after logging a team-high 34 minutes versus the Storm on Friday. She tallied double-digit points in each of the last two contests and fell one rebound short of a double-double Friday versus Seattle. Allisha Gray, Arike Ogunbowale and Kayla Thornton figure to be the other three cornerstones in the team's rotation. Chicago is another team vulnerable to frontcourt production, conceding 29.0 points per game to opposing forwards. Thornton and Johnson would fit that bill best, both reaching double digits twice in the last three games.

The Skinny

Another tilt featuring mixed paces, the Liberty come in among the fastest in the league. Along with pace, the team now sports a full roster after receiving the services of Amanda Zahui B., Bria Hartley and Marine Johannes back from the EuroBasket tournament. Their return has muddied the Liberty's rotation in a big way, with 10 different players seeing at least 10 minutes Friday. The possible return of Asia Durr could further dilute playing time, lowering the fantasy output of each player. Zahui B. got off to a slow start in her first game back, earning her additional value potential as the biggest budget discount for DraftKings. Johannes also made a big impact in her WNBA debut, notching 10 points, which could position her as a key contributor moving forward.

Slashing guards are the key to cracking the Liberty, putting Jordin Canada front and center as possibly the most important piece for the club's success Sunday. She's earned her way to the charity stripe five times in each of the last two games and could see a boost in that department versus hack-happy New York. Canada has stepped into a larger role with Jewell Loyd out of commission and should be nearly a lock for her sixth straight double-digit effort. Bigs have also had plenty of success against New York, with centers notching a league-best 18.1 points and 11.1 boards against the club. That could position Natasha Howard for a big effort. Back on July 3, Howard racked up 15 points, six boards, four steals and three assists versus the Liberty.

The Skinny

The Mercury rises when DeWanna Bonner and Brittney Griner lead the way. Griner has been particularly hot of late, totaling 20 or more points in five of the last six games. That success will be put tot he test against the Lynx, who allow a league-low 7.6 points to opposing centers. On the other hand, opposing guards have notched the second-most points per game (41.6), a league-best 5.7 steals and the third-most 1.6 blocks per contest. This may put Bonner's team-best 1.5 steals per contest on center stage and could place her among the favorites to headline daily lineups Sunday.

On the other side of the coin, the Lynx are led by Odyssey Sims and Sylvia Fowles. Phoenix typically shuts down opposing centers as well with Griner serving as the primary rim protector. That doesn't bode well for Fowles, but the Mercury struggle to stop opposing guards who can shoot. Lexie Brown may be a diamond in the rough as far as that goes Sunday, leading the team in three-point shots made and second-best in shooting from deep (40.7 percent) this season. Brown also shows up as one of the better budget values for DraftKings, making her certainly worthy of filler consideration. While Sims also chucks a decent amount of shots up from deep, that's not her particular forte, having connected on just 26.0 percent thus far.
