Natisha Hiedeman

29-Year-Old GuardG
 Seattle Storm  WNBA
2026 Fantasy Outlook
Hiedeman enjoyed a productive second season with the Lynx, finishing second in Sixth Player of the Year voting while averaging 9.1 points, 2.8 assists, 1.9 rebounds and 0.7 steals in 18.9 minutes per contest over 44 regular-season games. She was highly efficient, especially after the All-Star break, averaging 11.1 points on 54.2 percent shooting from the field and 48.4 percent shooting from downtown across 19.5 minutes per game in the final 20 regular-season games. The 29-year-old guard has come off the bench for the majority of her career but signed with the Storm during the offseason, and she could have an opportunity to take on a leading role in Seattle's backcourt this year, making her an intriguing fantasy option. April 28, 2026
Hiedeman (foot) isn't listed on the injury report for Wednesday's preseason game against the Fire, Jeff Brown of Storm Chasers reports.
ANALYSIS
Hiedeman missed Seattle's preseason opener due to a left foot issue but is set to suit up in the team's preseason finale. The 29-year-old guard signed a two-year pact with the Storm this offseason and will likely take on a sizable role for her new club.

Past Fantasy Outlooks

2022
After five seasons in Connecticut, Hiedeman was traded to the Lynx ahead of the 2024 campaign and served as a backup guard option, averaging 15.2 minutes per game while appearing in all of Minnesota's 52 games, including the postseason. Since the Lynx didn't make any major offseason moves, Hiedeman is slated to have the same role in 2025, though she may face some competition from newcomer Grace Berger. Kayla McBride and Courtney Williams combined for only one absence in 2024, making Hiedeman a low-ceiling option in fantasy drafts.
Hiedeman has ended as a top-60 fantasy player in three consecutive seasons, including a top-40 finish in 2022, and started 71 of 76 appearances over the last two seasons in Connecticut. She was traded to Minnesota this offseason in exchange for Tiffany Mitchell and a 2024 second-round pick. Mitchell started 21 of 33 appearances last year for the Lynx, so Hiedeman could see some opportunities with the first unit, but Courtney Williams, who signed a two-year deal with the Lynx this winter, is slated to start next to Kayla McBride to begin 2024. Despite an all-around skill set, Hiedeman is an inconsistent scorer who can light it up from distance occasionally -- 40.7 percent career three-point shooter. She is a high-floor option for a contending team, but barring injuries, Hiedeman's fantasy ceiling will likely be limited.
Last year, her fourth with Connecticut, Hiedeman took advantage of increased playing time due to Jasmine Thomas' torn ACL and started 31 of 36 appearances, posting career highs in points (9.1), assists (3.3), steals (1.2) and minutes (25.0). Hiedeman did most of her work from deep and remained one of the top three-point snipers in the league, shooting 41.1 percent on 4.7 attempts per game. The Sun's roster is drastically different heading into the 2023 campaign, mostly due to the departure of Thomas, Jonquel Jones and Courtney Williams, which could bode well for Hiedeman's usage. However, the frontcourt trio of Brionna Jones, DeWanna Bonner and Alyssa Thomas will presumably remain the focal point of the team's offense. Either way, Hiedeman finds herself in a prime position to match and possibly increase her career numbers from a year ago.
Hiedeman averaged 7.6 points, 1.9 points and 1.8 rebounds in 20.1 minutes over 32 appearances (five starts) in 2021 and the 5-foot-8 guard should slot into a similar role with the swapping in of Courtney Williams for Briann January to the roster during the offseason. Hiedeman's ability to stretch the floor (39.8 percent from three on 4.0 attempts per game in 2021) can be a major counter to Connecticut's fearsome frontcourt, so she figures to offer solid contributions off the bench again in 2022.
