The stage seems to finally be set for the young, all-around defenseman to grab a full-time roster spot. The second overall pick in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft, Nemec boasts offensive tools that could make him a point-scoring, valuable fantasy defenseman one day, but that might not happen right away in the 2025-26 season when you account for the presence of Dougie Hamilton and Luke Hughes as the two New Jersey defensemen most likely for power-play time.
